I was as there that day, a full house and about 20,000 outside without tickets, and a new world record attendance for a club match.

      Ok, you asked for it.
In a highly anticipated showdown at Croke Park on a balmy May evening, rugby giants Leinster and Munster collided in a match that would be etched into the annals of Irish rugby history. With over 80,000 fans filling the stadium, the atmosphere crackled with excitement and tension.
The opening whistle signaled the start of an intense battle, with both teams vying for dominance. Leinster surged forward with relentless determination, their forwards driving the ball with precision and purpose. Munster, renowned for their tenacity, countered with ferocious tackles and swift counterattacks.
As the first half progressed, Leinster began to assert their authority on the game. Johnny Sexton, orchestrating the play with finesse, expertly guided his team down the field. A well-executed set piece saw Leinster's Jamie Heaslip crash over the try line, sending the crowd into a frenzy of cheers.
Munster, undeterred by the setback, fought back with renewed vigor. Ronan O'Gara, the seasoned fly-half, marshaled his troops with precision, launching pinpoint kicks and probing runs. However, Leinster's defense held firm, repelling wave after wave of Munster attacks.
As the final whistle loomed, tension reached fever pitch. With only minutes remaining on the clock, Munster launched one last desperate assault. But it was Leinster's day to shine. A turnover deep in their own territory sparked a lightning-fast counterattack. Quick hands and slick passing saw the ball find its way to Brian O'Driscoll, the legendary center, who sprinted down the field with the grace of a gazelle. With a thunderous roar from the crowd, O'Driscoll dotted down under the posts, sealing victory for Leinster.
The final score: Leinster 24, Munster 10.
As the players embraced in mutual respect at the end of the match, the sea of blue and red in the stands erupted in jubilation. For Leinster, it was a triumph to savor-a testament to their skill, resilience, and unwavering spirit. And for Munster, while defeat may sting, their courage and tenacity had once again endeared them to fans across the nation.
As the sun set over Croke Park, the echoes of battle faded into the night, leaving behind memories of a classic encounter between two rugby titans.

The passive agression of your comment is not lost in me.
It was not an outright attack on BOD as it was pitying OTB for their pathetic line of questioning.
But it does come down to this..... They need the likes of BOD, ROG even Alan Quinlan on the show for views and they needs ego massaging questions like that to keep them coming back.

Is it just me or is it enabling for OTB to indulge him in needless nostalgia. It seems a.bit vainglorious and needy.
He was great back in the day, but he would have competetition today compared to the past.
That being said, he was always humble and im glad he didnt scale the fence and do a ROG on it like in 06. Clear difference in characters.

Yes there is. What ROG did and does made/makes him the great player he was and the great coach he is. BOD is cute. ROG is direct, wears his heart on his sleeve. No bs. I feel if ROG was from Dublin he might have got a better send off etc

From memory. BOD had half a dozen send offs. Deserved too dont get me wrong. ROG deserved better.@williamwalker3837
