Tip: if your skating and you feel like your about to fall... SQAUT AS LOW AS YOU CAN!! Then once you get your balance, you can get back up and go onnn!

Valerie gomez yhhh falling really sucks. I fell on my hands the other day and it hurt like a female dog lol so I stopped skating but my protective pads have come through so we go again 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

After only skating for 4 years and my dad teaching more people that I have blinked in my life, the best advice I can give you is bend your knees. Walk like a penguin and bend your knees and lean forward a bit to go faster more confident. Good luck!

You were actually pretty good, like as time went on as well you got better.
And to stop you can search some stuff on RUclips as well as other things you'd like to learn. You could try 'The T Stop' Or whatever!
Also good job on purchasing items to help protect ya when Roller Skating. Like Kneepads or something and whatnot.

Where did you buy your hair cap? Does the black color bleed (transfer) onto your pillow/couch etc.? Can you please share a link if available? I've seen curly hair influencers mention (similar style) the orange one but I read many complaints about the orange color bleeding on to their bedding. I've only seen the orange one in stores (in California) and I don't want any color transferring anywhere.
360 Revolucion hey! Yeah I’ve had so many hair caps do this to my sheets but luckily the one I have on doesn’t. But I got it from a hair shop (I live in the UK atm)

Girl my friend has those skates and I have impalas. Please put some padding in the skates you have. You don’t have a lot of ankle support at the top of the boot and your ankles are going to get sooooo irritated. You could use what Ballet dancers use (I believe it’d lambs wool? Could be wrong) just to get some cushion there :)

@@lucillekingg Yes!! Arrived yesterday and been out 4 times since! Got caught in the rain thid evening though which was so super slippy I couldn't even stand so went home! Hoping my bearings will be okay! 😭 it came out of no where! I'm so much more wobbly than I anticipated but I've gone from not being able to stand yesterday morning to skating on my own this morning! So progress!! Thank you!! X

Always have a bend at your knees and lower your hips a little, it helps keep your balance a lot better than skating straight up and down

Cant stop watching roller skating videos. Its becoming an obsession. I got a pair and only been on them twice in the house so far.. i ate shit bigtime yesterday. Full on cartoon style banana slip, two feet in the air and BOOM... im not put off but holy f! i gave myself whiplash :') and a few bruises. Everything i had learned about 'make myself small' went out the window. Will get back on them again soon. With my safety gear on this time.. fs. Not watched this yet but i wonder are you still skating. Seems everyone got skates over the past two years

I also lost the obsession, although I have every intention to buy my boyf a pair of skates to have a skating partner, I find it gets boring quickly on my own. I really do still have a passion to become a pro tho, I just start so many new hobbies so quickly and struggle to be consistent- pretty sure I have ADHD tbh, but yesss keep going! don't let the falls stop you :)

I just recently came across roller skating and im planning on buying a pair soon but almost all “good” brands are sold out of my size and the ones that arent are almost $400 which is definitely out of my price range, but i did come across the roller skates that you have on in this video, and i was wondering if you think they’re good? would you recommend them? heyyyy! I would 100% recommend it! they are affordable and cute! although they are extremely roley (although i hear you can fix that with a screwdriver)... honestly I would defo recommend!
You should adjust your toe stop so it's easier to stop or if you can't adjust it you should get a new one.😁

Is the ground smooth when you ride outside or can you feel all the rocks under the wheels?
Cherish Hales honestly I never really paid attention to that (I was too exited 😂). But from what i can remember it was quite smooth xx

i dont know if it will help you but, when i started using rollerblades i was scared af of falling, so i went as close as i could to the ground and started rolling around and i did lose my fear that day. probably because if i fell it wont hurt.
but i still need to practice lol.

Heyyy. I think you should get your original size. that’s what I did and it worked out well, then again I can fit into a 5.5. But I think if you size up it’ll be too big x

@@lucillekingg Yes I like them they were the silver and light ones I got they run well but they are more rolly like you can slip a lot in them which I don't like cause I already hurt my self once falling on my dresser because that's a surface I can ride my skates on because it's very cold and dark outside so I skate inside and I have carpet flooring I mean it's not that smooth it's a little smooth.
