I can't say I ever thought about always pitching back to the same place I just got a fish from. I am sure I have done it from time to time, but now I'll try to make it a regular practice after catching a fish..
Thanks Bob! Quick question.. When assessing a big expanse of vegetation with pads, how much do you think about deeper water or proximity to it in selecting your targets?
I think having deeper water nearby or a slight depression can be a big deal. The slight depressions on a large flat are super important. Usually they don’t show up on a map so if you discover them in a large grass flat you’ll usually have those fish to yourself.
My man… you have to practice keeping them vertical when lipping them. You’re turning their heads straight and letting their jaws carry the body weight.
That braid singing is like music to my ears
