How to check a pressure sensor

It is very easy to check whether a pressure sensor is reacting correctly, but there is one mistake you should not make: never blow directly into the pressure measuring tube, as this may destroy the sensor! A simple pinch of the flexible tube is enough to make the sensor react. If there is no tube, it is also possible to put your finger on the sensor outlet to change the pressure.
