Beam Clash should never have left dragon ball games
This trailer had me emotional due to just how beautiful it looked and the love can be felt throughout the trailer.
At no point was i disappointed even after multiple viewings of the trailer and I'm so happy to see the team coming a long way from Jump force to now blending 2 D and 3D animation.
I cant wait to see the roster (and bless the voice actors who have had to do multiple characters) but the fact that characters from the TOP are also present makes me really happy as we can have these guys fleshed out or even have side quests which involve them.
Over all a really great trailer and i cant wait to see what more they have in store for us in 2024

I think the decision for the name sparking zero is pretty simple.. if they would announce it as tenkaichi 4, they have to put every character from the third one in it.. but since they call it sparking "zero", they have the chance to keep the old system and most likely release some less but more dlc characters in it
Don't you think the game would sell better if the name is changed to Budokai Tenkaichi ...? I personally wouldn't expect the same roster as BT3 has + a few new ones from Super in the new game when it's called BT4.
It's called Sparking Zero because in Japan the game is also known as Sparking. It will help increase sales and ease of recognition in Japan.

Hate to break it to you, but they likely aren't coming anywhere close to as many characters as the old ones. Otherwise they would announce it to generate hype

And had three games to increase the rooster
Raging blast 2 also improved the size and added new stuff
So expect this game to have 70 characters at base

OMG, DBS Trunks looks 🔥 I’m so excited that we finally get to transform in game to SSB, one of the reasons that Xenoverse 2 disappointed me was because with SSB and other transformations like SSG, they had to be directly picked separate
Same can’t wait for more z characters to get recognition and the incredible mechanics
I assume they'll bring back taunts as well
The effects, destruction, combat, in really excited for this. Gonna be best Dragon ball game. Plus when vegetables deflects Gokus kama blast, the ground below kinda blows up and gets damaged and that’s really awesome. The effects and the explosions, looks amazing, hopefully each character has a combo list, excited that they’re gonna have their faithful anime adaptation fighting styles, the amount of characters is insane.
Things the game needs to have:
-All Characters that are in there…that are able to transform, please include base form and every (i said E V E R Y) transformation for all of them. For example: Base Z Broly has gone missing for a long time.
-Large Maps, fully explorable this time.
-A whipping soundtrack or better yet, just use the japanese ost
-Include joke characters like arale, grandpa gohan, devilman, even zen-oh. Just for the memes. You have the technology, put it to use.
-Take the graphics to the next level. For now it looks like budokai 3 mixed with tenkaichi 3. And thats exactly what we want.
Im just beyond hyped now. I never expected sparking zero to finally show up. At the game awards of all places.

@@JokuthesaiyangodStop adjusting yourself to corporate greed. The technology that’s available to them allows them to create way more content with higher quality compared to back then. They used to be way more dedicated back then and that’s supposed to be the way it should be today too.

I've seen some impressive environmental destruction with Unreal Engine 5. Makes me wonder how far they'll go with it in this new Dragon Ball Sparking game.
I like the fact that they removed the letter Z from the game's name.. Would love to play db super stories here
I mean last thing to have the Z was technically resurrection F. Obviously not including games. If that were the case then kakarot would be last to use the Z

Maybe im crazy. Either in budokai 3 or db gt, Vegeta used a new move called Final Shine. Ive been dying for that move to be Canon and included in a new game

Final Shine Attack is from GT and its been in multiple games including BT2, BT3, and the Xenoverse series

Black frieza, ultra ego vegeta, true ultra instinct goku, Moro, granola. Cause as we know this is something they’ve done for ages. Where they don’t include characters or transformations that haven’t been animated
Stage destruction and beam clashes already already confirmed and since jiren is gona be playable this game will easily have 200+ characters

I always felt they never built off tenkaichi just to give other fighting games a chance. Now that a new installment is coming it’s gonna hurt other fighters because it’s going to be too good.. set the bar so high because of the fighting mechanics.
Still hoping for full Dynamic Arena destruction not just preset destructible things

Actually it’s technically always been called sparking. It was over in the states and everywhere outside of Japan that called it tenkaichi.

interesting, they promote the game as the first entry since tenkaichi 3 in 2007. we had inbetween raging blast 1+2 + ultimate tenkaichi + dbz kinect as also tenkaichi tag team, all games related to the series. so 2009-2012 didn't exist for them or what?
Those were never sequels to the previous Tenkaichis. In fact, this is the first “Sparking” title after the previous ones. I think the renamings are what made it confusing.

Its not for me, when frieza hits vageta away vageta does a dainty spin animation in air, so what happens when i chain these heavy vanishing hits? am i going to be bouncing people around and theyre gonna be twirling? why use same bad animations from zenoverse.....looks cool but the mechanics dont seem to be there, this is no different than zenoverse and thats not what we wanted. that vageta getting smacked away animation was terrible for follow ups and would look dumb seeing him get bounced back and forth like that

We don't know for sure yet they are branding the game as a return of the tenkaichi games which is a good sign but I feel you. I really hope this game does not feel like xenoverse and more like the old tenkaichi
