Love the short lesson today. Thanks Dave. I really enjoy Topaz S2 and I am sorry to hear from Steve that this product is dead in the water, it’s just so much fun and you can be so creative with it as you are always pointing out to us. I would be one who would gladly pay up for keeping this product updated. TOPAZ ARE YOU LISTENING!
I really find Topaz Studio 2 and Topaz adjust to be invaluable tools and your tutorials open up worlds of possibilities I never would have thought of or know were there. Thank you.
I've used Studio II for a few years and really like it. But, I did not know about a couple of your tips in this video. They have made a big difference in my editing using AI Remix. Thank you big time for this and your other videos.
I have had Topaz Studio and TS2 for years, but I didn't know about the AI Remix filter until your tutorial. Until now I've used a lot of the 'looks' but not used the filter menu so much. I don't think I'd heard of AI in photography when TS2 came out. Does it act in the same way as the AI in, say, the current AI of Topaz Photo AI?
I loved Topaz Studio 2. Until I upgraded to a M1 MacBook Pro. TS2 only works in Intel (Rosetta) mode. OK until I found out Gen AI required M1 mode. Very frustrating. I emailed Topaz support and was told TS2 is a totally dead product. Arrrrggghhh! Thanks Dave!
For me and this is only the 2nd time I've opened studio 2 on my m1 Mac mini, I can only open studio 2 as a standalone program. There's no plugin listed in PS. Most current version. I did move the plug in file from an older version of PS to 2024 and no luck. Not that big of deal as this stuff is just playtime. thanks Dave
Hey Stephen, maybe I am missing your point, but it seems that Dave can launch both TS2 and use Gen AI using Rosetta mode. It was really disappointing to hear that TP2 is a “totally dead product”, TS2 is so versatile and useful, I think a lot of folks just overlook it, but you can be so creative with it and have so much fun. I really think Topaz is missing the boat as I would gladly pay up for this product to be continued. Anyway, thanks for sharing.
Dave, is it a fact that Topaz is going to be discontinuing updates for Studio 2? If so, will we be able to continue using it even without updates? I don't care if they don't update it. I just want to continue to use the functions it already has.
You will be able to use it on your existing computers, provided a new operating system doesn’t stop it from working. Where it might quit working could be a new computer with an incompatible processor or operating system.

Love it. Thanks Dave. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Robert.
Good work. There is so much in Studio 2. I appreciate your insights, as always. Thanks.

Can you make the layer a smart object so you can go back into S2 after accepting, and make any changes?
