Andre is a very special person, read his book OPEN and you can see what he went through in his very young life and tennis career. I g
Had the privilege of seeing him and his first wife Brooke in the elevator his offices were on the 11th floor and I worked on he 10th. Such a humble guy.

Hearing Agassi detail his life makes me think of the word "sonder". I recommend anyone watching this video to take the time to google it. You should find the definition in the dictionary of obscure sorrows.

Had no idea that Agassi was that intelligent. Interestingly, the Brad Gilbert interview that I also recently watched sez that Agassi has a photographic memory, too. Cool!

Enjoying his book - always liked the nice guy he came across as... not such an angel in the book but still great peep. His dad was quite obnoxious but wld be interesting to know his story... cldn't show affection and did a lot of damage self-esteem wise to his sons... anyway - also had a bully dad so almost understand what they went through... Thank God for caring mothers... in these situations...

As long as everyone end up being better off, however marginally so is the point here.
Very little or nothing for most, everything or close to it benefiting very few, no matter how hard they worked at it, no matter how low their starting point was. André is talking sense here, and acting accordingly. If it's the law of the jungle and nothing else - besides illusions about some sort of "modern society - then at the very least it should be clear.
Anyone and everyone committing to do better is to be applauded. André is one those. This isn't socialism. It's looking at the big picture.

He is Iranian man. His dad was an ethnic Armenian from Iran and speaks Persian. Nobody from the country of Armenia would be that intense. Just fact. Armenians from Armenia are lazy. Iranians and Iranian Armenians are usually more driven.

Ciaron Smith So his dad being an ethnic Armenian from Iran makes Agassi Iranian? No dipshit, he’s American. Born and raised in Vegas. His dad hated Iran.

Your father brought you where you are. You wanted to be Andy? Long live IRAN. Javid SHAH. U did hate the port of tennis. Sport of tennis brought you you money and fame.
