Of all the hermits I've watched so far, this has by FAR, the coolest intro.
The big crowd conversations get so chaotic at times as a viewer. But having the epic music and slow camera push in just gave it so much oomph

They had breeding for parrots. Then people pointed out chocolate is bad for birds. Instead of fixing the breed item they changed the cookies to kill them. So now they are the only animal (so far as I know) that can't be bred but can be poisoned. 'cause that's wholesome. thanks Mojang

@@captain4318especially when movies on average are at least 1 hour 20 minutes. Plus there is a big difference between RUclips videos and movies, one takes one to two years to make and the other takes a few hours, few days at most if taking time editing.
@@coreychurchfilms arent always high budget blockbuster hollywood style things, short films are a thing, indie films are a thing. this video can also be considered a film with all the editing, cinematic shots, music, added commentary etc.

pro tip: bring untamed parrots to your room and nametag them. Then they fly around on their own. Unlike tamed parrots that just sit around or teleport after you.
The windows would have to change or they'd just fly out like the tamed ones tried to do.
I second untamed parrots either way. I have "used" them a ton for atmosphere, and I'm sure it depends where you set up, but it really works for me. Most of the time mine just fly around by the water or close to where they were released, unlike other un-tame mobs that just walk up the highest hill. I always expect to lose them all, but they've hung around for me in multiple worlds.
Until lightning hits them, anyway.

Wheat in a boat is revolutionary tbh. Bdubs casually just mentioning the coolest tips instead of putting them in a video like “TOP TEN MINECRAFT BUILDING HACKS” is why I love mine crafters who’ve been going for years

Many Cyberpunk-aesthetic films are visually inspired by Hong Kong, which also has a steep mountain behind the city like the one Impulse is next to.
And if you're talking about a gaming district, Hong Kong's Happy Valley is tucked into the mountain and has horse races and a casino.
I was genuinely hoping someone would make a cyberpunk base this season and of all people its bdubs the interior and color mixing master IM SO EXCITED

watching the parrots do their thing while bdubs and pearl talked really strengthened my belief that tamed mobs/pets need an additional new POI-based roaming state, where they're still active and interactin with the world but they dont teleport to you, instead they prioritise a point of interest that they're paired with- much like the villagers and their POIs. there's issues w the idea i know but god it'd add so much life to your build if you could have cats wolves and birds actually living in your builds instead of just sitting in them
I mean the vex isn't that far from having this. It doesn't seem that hard to implement a food bowl for dogs and cats.
I usually just nametag them and let them wander untamed, but cats always bolt >:/
So basically craft a pet bed that tamed animals can be linked then they have a 50 block roaming area around
Totally agree, tamed mobs really need to have a “home” mode where they stay close to a location designated to them, probably a radius around a player bed, or a food bowl like someone else said. Wolves, for instance, should have a mode where they patrol around and guard a player’s territory, rather than just follow you everywhere, but can also be toggled into “follow” mode for exploring. And it would be extra cool if you could toggle a wolf to track back to their “home” location while you are out traveling with them, almost like an homage to the movie Homeward Bound, and you could follow them all the way back home.

Minecraft should add saddle and horse armor enchants. Like Depth Strider would make it so horses swim without knocking the player off, Feather falling makes them immune to fall damage, that sorta thing.
Maybe a few horse only enchants like Trample to make them deal damage when they walk over mobs. Horse Power makes them move faster when on grass. Good Stock gives extra hearts. I'm sure there could be tons of cool ones people could use.
wish you could train them somehow like if you ride one alot, feed him diff kinds of food, groom him somehow, the better he gets better at yknow being a horse like more hp, standing still and follwing you when told and stuff
dont you just hate it when you find one with nice patterns but terrible stats, taking good care of a horse sounds way better than breeding/butchering a gazillion horses for the right one

I wasn’t ready for a comfy cozy ghibli vibe from a bdubs video. But something about the charismatic, funny, gruffness really lends well with the medieval/cozy vibes. I really think he’s found his style. I don’t wanna know how many hours this took to edit tho. Bro said on imp and skizz he was done innovating and proceeds to put out one of the most artistic and lovingly edited minecraft videos I’ve ever seen. Way to go bdubs!

BDubs, an idea for your tamed parrots: Build a beautiful big oak near the house by the pond and sit them in it. Possibly a nice bench below it for relaxing. Would make for a wonderful atmosphere.
The grey one could also be sat on your roof to look like a pigeon or rock dove.

the season yall avoided elytra and had the no fly club was great made the server look more orgaanic building roads and other lower sitting buildings.
Elytra really do kind of ruin players’ interaction with their world. As soon as an elytra is obtained, there’s almost no reason for players to build roads or bridges or anything, and people ignore all the details of a world by just flying over them. It’s so overpowered and kind of sucks the life out of the game for me, I don’t even play with it.
personally i like elytra but without rockets it gives the ease of not... falling to your death anymore, but you still use paths and infrastructure and get the sense of scale

Here we see the BdoubleO in his natural building habitat. This scrunkly moss man is building a house made almost entirely from moss. This is likely due to his Glare Mob ancestry (doesn't like the darkness, is the first to sleep, looks like it lives in a shrub/moss).

Bdubs, you can mine with moss - it'll get you more diamonds, gold, etc because it doesn't destroy ore blocks.
The editing and cinematography just keeps getting better and better. You're a true artist bdubs, not letting the canvas dictate the craft.
I love the no mending idea. The whole mending and villager book trading took away such a key part of the game.
I feel like elytra should be the only item that can have mending.
although, phantom membranes in an anvil being the way to heal an elytra does balance out how insanely useful it is compared to other transport
@@thiccsand while that's true, getting an elytra is extremely difficult. Maybe not once you have one, but in general, it's so much more difficult even compared to netherrite.
And it's also much easier to break, if we had like a solid visual warning when you get to like 10%, then I'd agree with you.

Man, it's one thing to be good at building in Minecraft; but it's a different thing entirely to be an innovator in the building space, and Bdubs is nothing short of a brilliant innovator. Absolutely love the unparalleled level of detail that yet remains functional in his builds!

This episode got me thinking… imagine you can build a birdhouse (block?) that functions as a breeding tool and also serves as an area limitation for pet birds. You place it in a corner of your build or on a tree, and say, birds can’t fly beyond 15 to 20+ blocks away from that birdhouse. That way your pet birds can fly around the outside of your house freely creating a dynamic atmosphere.
This or a tree hollow (maybe using the chest recipe but you'd use logs instead of planks) or a nest block using sticks and maybe vines. Even if it's only function is for decoration and breeding birds, I would be happy cause having to travel to a jungle (which can be absurdly far in some seeds) every time you want a parrot is a pain. Especially for those who like to have birds just sitting in trees or around their paths/builds.
I absolutely LOVE the cinematic shots! They are awesome! I am also super excited for the team-up between BDubs and Impulse for a dystopian, Cyberpunk, themed city!
Based on the city idea and all the people living around the cherry blossom mountain, it seems like the first few months will have everyone building very densely and close together which is something I would love to see. It would be super cool to have what would essentially be a town that isn't just for shopping.

I absolutely love how Bdubs experiments with new editing styles for his Hermitcraft episodes each and every season. Whether it revolves around a fun and silly approach or more serious and cinematic (like what we get to experience for this season), he always captures the right emotions and effectively integrates it into the big picture for each episode. I've watched the first 3 episodes of his season so far and I came back here to the first one to post this comment and it's just a beauty to watch. If you're reading this comment and are unfamiliar with Bdub's prior work, I'd recommend going through his different seasons of Hermitcraft to truly understand and experience the magnificent nature of his varying editing styles.
