it’s so upsetting how some people can have beautiful turnout with no effort and i have to STRUGGLE for every degree i have and still have horrible turnout 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I will say I do get upset when ad campaigns use non dancers as ballerinas because it's like a slap to our face. Ballet isn't easy and for them to just throw random models on pointe and call them a ballerina is just not fair to all the hard work us dancers actually put in.
Pointe shoes are dangerous, you shouldn’t wear them without a teacher and or doctors go ahead. If they wanted to do a ballet concept, they could have used soft shoes and asked a ballerina to help pose her. In my opinion, that would be really cool to see. It doesn’t look good.
As someone who is not a professional dancer but did ballet as a child, I agree. It honestly could've been much worse. It could've honestly been just a tad better had Sydney fixed her ribbons.
models doing ballet is like a white person attempting to sing a song in chinese although they have never had a single chinese lesson. it's not a horribly offensive thing, but it makes us want to scream. yknow the feeling?

Yeah it’s honestly just a nice kind of concept for a picture! It’s not meant to be showing off her skills as a professional ballerina ☺️

@@sarahjohnson6407 yeah you should only wear them if you’ve trained with them
As a dancer for 5 and more years I think this pretty accurate
