I don't know where Nichol gets hers, but a great item is magnetic vent covers. I get them at Home Depot. They cost less than $5 for 3 covers, and I can get 9 magnetic sheets (5x7-3/4" each) cut out from a package. Just be sure and back them with something like heavyweight cardstock or chipboard, so they have better support and your dies don't pop off when you store them. I'd recommend something like Scor Tape to adhere the magnetic sheets to the backer. Don't use a liquid glue, though, or the moisture will seep through the magnetic sheet and may rust your dies. Don't ask me how I know! HTH! :)
