Resonated til the rage part. I’ve been exploring this lately myself. the word ‘violence’ has so much negative energy attached to it that it’s no longer viable to express what it truly represents. I think ‘destruction’ is a more apt description. Is there not a god of destruction? Is it not everywhere in the natural world? We embody that as well. The word ‘sacred’ is the key destination I think. When we come from a place of being justified in our rage and wield that power to rebalance the scales, well, that’s what destruction is for. It doesn’t necessarily mean a fist fight, although it could. It means the rage expressed outward into the world as a destructive force. That’s what a volcano does. What even Jesus did in the temple and did not ask forgiveness. Didn’t need to. No one needed to mention forgiveness because it was unnecessary as the balance had been restored through sacred destruction of an altar which had been wrongly built. The rage shows that it’s in your power to being this force. A gift and responsibility at the hands and used as wisely as we are able in the moment. You may surprise yourself. Experienced it again last night after having sex with my date. The tension had been building all night through political discussion. Afterward he thought I was making fun of him for something. I tried to express that my intention was actually connection. I have always tried to ‘meet in the middle’ as a defense strategy I suppose. Was mirrored back again that the other party did not want that. His entire demeanor had changed and I could tell he was playing out a pattern. An attempt to finish the night off with the upper hand I suppose. (Had been talking about his narcissistic gaslighting ex prior in the night- perhaps a reflection). And I was playing out my pattern of being the one who gladly gives the power away. But as my rage has been re-emerging in many instances in my life, it came up again. I wanted desperately to sock him right in his fucking mouth, and I expressed that. I managed to keep my fists to myself but as the patterns kept playing out the rage remained. I got up on the sink in the island of his kitchen and he stood across. His words unyielding suddenly I just.. peed. I pissed right in his sink as I looked him dead in the eye hahaha and sprayed some water in his face. By this point he had 911 on the phone and was giving them my description hahaha I calmly grabbed my stuff, said thanks for the fuck and left. Hoped a fence and laughed running all the way back to my car. I have several recent experiences like this. Where the destruction (“destruction”) came out of me (this time, so literally) when facing the power play of the masculine (who is so used to the submission of feminine, forgetting the power of her destructive force. If they’re not willing to face the consequences of their drives, they shouldn’t conjure her 🤷♀️).
