Defao decided by himself to leave the group in 1989. He told ben nyamabo about his decision to leave but he was still making songs inside the group although he could be considered as left already. At the same time debaba became very bad with his friends because ben nyamabo gave him a lot of power and confidence.
I watched interviews of other members of Choc Stars, and they mentioned that Debaba had fallen out with every member of the group.
@@worldmusicarchives7950 exactly ! Even Carlito was badly betrayed by debaba in 1991 when Carlito was in France, debaba wrote a letter that was signed up by ben nyamabo in order to sanction Carlito without any reason. Debaba became somebody very mean, arrogant and powerful, that's why God brought him back to the way of righteousness so debaba could claim for forgiveness and had a lot of regret doing all those bad things to his musician colleagues.
Exactly, things did not work out for Debaba around 94, and he left, leaving huge hole for the group.
@@bastoumala9170 I don't know if it at this moments, but Debaba had even sent a letter to Defao forbidding him to speak to him, that they are no more friends, that he no wants to sing with him and even in his albums of nzong nzing etc. It really hurt Defao and that's why Defao was so absent in Choc Stars, but I don't know it was to when moments. And it seems that Debaba had that kind of attitude not only in Choc Stars but also in Victoria Eleison, he had that kind of attitude towards Kester by betraying him.
@MusicCongolaise I watched that interview as well. Their last nzong nzing albums together were Muana Mokongo, Amour Scolaire
Thank you bro you are the best.
You're welcome
Merci pour l avoit remise
Merci ndeko !

I think it may have been at this moments that Defao was sometimes in dispute with Debaba that's why Defao didn't assisted concerts anymore.
The tension was getting high at that point, probably it was a reason he decided to leave Choc Stars.
The drummer Mara Plus and Maradona Lontomba are not the same.
So Mara Plus played on the drums in this concert and the other concert at Hotel Intercontinental?
@@worldmusicarchives7950 It's possible, because I think Maradona Lontomba was in Viva La Musica at this moments.
@MusicCongolaise That's not possible. He joined Viva La Musica around 1993 in Paris when he came on tour with Wenge El Paris
