In india car companies suggest to replace Air filter at 15k to 30k kms. But this thing is applicable in European countries as they are cold countries and with almost zero air pollution. But in india weather is hot and thus air carries dust and moreover india is extremely polluted. Thus changing air filter is advised at every 5000km.

सर जी, मुझको एक बात बताए की पहले मैं अपनी गाड़ी (Hyundai i10 Magna Petrol) में, वर्ष में केवल एक बार ही एयर फ़िल्टर को बदलता था और वो भी ज्यादा खराब नहीं होता था जबकि गाड़ी करीब 6,000-7,000 किलोमीटर चलती थी ।
पर जब से मैंने गाड़ी में CNG लगवाई है तब से 2,500-3,000 किलोमीटर में ही एयर फ़िल्टर की हालत बहुत ज्यादा खराब हो जाती है और गाड़ी में चलते-चलते बंद होने की समस्या होने लगती है और जब एयर फ़िल्टर को बदल देते है तो समस्या ठीक हो जाती है । ऐसा क्यों हो रहा है । कृपया उचित सलाह दे ।
