A lil’ tip I learned from the old heads: Use the red orifice tube from an early 90’s Ford 150. It allows the refrigerant to flow a lil’ more efficient and actually cool a bit better. I’ve done it both ways and it does help. I’ve been doing it for years on my Gbodys and old schools. Also, make sure you lube the orifice tube o-ring with your refrigerant oil before installation. Hope that helps.👊🏾
Thank bro!!! Definitely puttin this tip in the bag!!! Yea I added refrigerant oil to the o-ring but it wouldn’t go for Sh!+…that tool helped out greatly tho
Bruh! I just found your channel a few days ago after finally get my 86 Monte SS. You've been a huge blessing to me, answering a lot of questions I had. Definitely about to get started on projects on the Monte and take a break from the Vette. Keep grinding!
Man I’m so glad peeps are keeping the AC setup!! Nice work fam. 💪🏾 I’ve been in a G body that blew 33 degrees in Vegas during the summer heat. Teeth chattering 🥶. It can be done!
Check those vacuum lines. I believe they need to be hooked up. I wanna say they close your blind door so you won’t be trying to cool down your air from outside
