I am a 60some year old bowler, back in 2008-8-9, when Jason came on the scene with his two hand style of bowling I thought he had ruined OUR game , I was so wrong , it has increased its popularity 10 fold , and I could not choose a better representive then Jason Belmonte , from the bottom of my heart thank you Jason
He didnt ruin the game. Osku Palermaa did. And he got the karma he deserved. Dude til this day can't get anywhere near the amount of success Belmo has. People like you contribute to the problem. Thanks alot, grandpa.
I'm not even going to watch this, but it showed up in my feed. Why would you even bother to spend the time to post a hatchet job on one of the finest bowlers in history? I don't see the point. Sometimes you, win, sometimes you lose. Earl Anthony finished second, like, 40+ times and got whipped by Emmett Shutes throwing a spinner, but I don't suppose you'd post "Earl Anthony's WORST Moments on TV" video. Please rethink your strategy here. To negative for me.
I'm surprised the 2013 U.S. Open wasn't on here. Jason dominated from the start of the tournament, then shot 156 in the title match, it was really rough.
There was also the 2020 Tournament of Champions against Kris Prather where he was just as awful as he was at this year's US Open and he somehow missed the head pin on the left side in the 2nd frame. I don't think I've ever seen that happen on television.
I was fortunate enough to bowl a couple of games with Jason before he went to the US at my home centre in a tournament and he was such a nice bloke. He’s had a tough 2024 thus far I’m sure he’ll turn it round that’s what GOAT’s do 👍
Needing a mark to win an elimination match for his PBA League team and leaving the 2-4-8 and throwing the spare shot in the right gutter was pretty rough, though obviously that isn’t a real tournament.
Hi TheRightLane. I would really like if you please could do a "Top 5 Worst Moments Of Liz Johnson" video. I would really appreciate if you please would make my idea come true and maybe shoutout me. ❤really love your content
Figured there'd be one of these. Belmonte's my current favorite, but he's really struggled the last year or so. 4-6-7-10 I heard is actually harder to make than 7-10 since only Walter Ray Williams has made that one on TV. And nope, his slump continues at World Series of Bowling World Championship, so we'll have to see if he does any better at tournament of champions.
What I don't understand is why he didn't throw his spare ball straight and leave like a 5 pin or something... All he needed was a mark and a few pins on the fill... He's extremely accurate with his spare ball, I don't understand why he didn't use it 🤔
The crazy part is that Belmo has made so many shows where he didn’t win that this list can be created. Wonder how many title matches he’s lost, even though he’s one so many.
not sure what this number is up to now, but iirc, about 2-3 years ago, he had 17 losses on TV in majors alone. not sure what the entire number is now including non majors
i've been wondering the same. Do we as viewers naturally gravitate towards the drama and negativity so much that it's "rewarded" I kinda wish it wasnt so but yet here i am watching this
@@VIpown3dunfortunately they do.............People gravitate towards negativity so they have a false sense of superiority. The Germans has a word for that "schadenfreude"
The Right Lane, Thank you for uploading the 5 worst performances of Jason Belmonte. Also, the 2 Moments that stood out were the 2019 Players Championship and the 2024 USBC Masters. Also, both the 2019 Players Championship Title Match and the Semi Final match of the 2024 USBC Masters had great finishes.

Finally an understanding OG of the game lol
Literally saved the game

2013 US Open was way worse than 2024 Us Open. He led by a million and shot 150 in the title match

The best? First title, Completing the Super Slam, Masters 3-peat, Having more majors than anyone, 4th TOC.
"That is some of the worst luck I've ever seen, and it happens a lot, not very often but it does happen to them"
That made no sense Randy

Typical Randy!🤦🏼♀️

Pete Weber has to he next!
I think AJ Johnson should be one. He has had a lot of unlucky moments.
I was at the USBC Masters a couple weeks ago, seeing his 8/10 leave in the 10th against Dombrowski in person was truly amazing.
Imo it’s: #1: 2019 us open; #2: 2013 us open; #3: 2024 us open; #4: 2020 tournament of champions; #5 2013 tournament of champions

Please do worst moments of EJ Tackett
A Sean Rash one of this would be cool
It would be a list rather than top five or top 10
showing all the footage then narrating it is confusing
Pete Weber!
Bottlegate
He had a bad moment throwing that f****** wrecker that ball was a piece of s*** I always hated that f****** ball
pete weber
SAD
That just seems weird for a ball with his much revs to leave a 8-10
It should have been the 2-8-10, but he actually got unlucky for the 2 to fall and that pretty much eliminated his chance of sparing it.

3:08 "Rut rogh Raggy, belmo missed the l pocket!"
The 2019 US open had Belmo fooled as well. That's a forgotten one usually
jasons luck this year has been so bad in only 4 months hopefully he can bounce back
David cooper?
Not a bad guess... Face reveal coming soon to see if you're right ;)
Norm Duke, pretty please!
Do Kris Prather after Sean Rash.
Can you please do Major Mika Koivuniemi!!
Thanks for this one.
Where do you find all this old TV footage? I really want to watch through every major stepladder telecast.
Cheers mate

He's one??????
That ball in #5 wrecks my eyes, Looks like it is skidding down the lane instead of turning and then....
