I made the wise decision to use the pimp cane only during my first BL4, went well until orphan, no way I could stand having to do like 19 backstabs, so I switched to the cleaver
BB-pellets are not as useful when using the cane, compared to the axe and the cleaver, as the beasthood buildup you get with the cane is minimal. Then you also factor in the fact that pellets make you even more fragile than you're already, so they weren't really worth it in the run, with 2 exceptions; BSB and Rom. With Rom and BSB you can use pellets safely, as you can distract BSB with cocktails while you whip it, while cumulatively gaining beasthood. Meanwhile Rom won't attack in phase 1, so you can safely build-up beasthood by karate-chopping her head.
@@3meraldo5plash beasthood does not affect your survivability at bl4, as it only decreases the defense you gain from levelling. Cane has plenty of good moves for building beasthood, r2 in both forms and the whip to cane transform attack to name a few.
Why do you not use whip form for extra serrated damage against beast bosses like Vicar Amelia and Phase 1 Ludwig? You even outfit your weapons to take advantage of his beast status for Phase 1 and apply Fire Paper, but you never use the serrated whip form of the Threaded Cane against them. Why is that? Is the damage somehow better in cane form? Edit: love the Hollow Knight music, my favorite game.
Ik this is 5 months late but, this is a bl4 run to the end, meaning he doesn’t have to do the side bosses if he doesn’t need to, beating bloodstarved beast was mandatory for the chalices tho.(and witches for runes)

I agree that parts of the BL4 run are going to be the same no matter who makes the video, but telling me to watch someone else’s vid after clicking on yours makes me not want to watch yours. I’ve watch ymfahs BL4 guide, but I clicked on this video to watch you and your editing, not ymfahs.

Cane form deals more damage, yes. But the serrated form grants more range to your attacks.
