The short katana is the Wakizashi that you can get in a cave in Caelid. It is considered a dagger 🗡️ but allows the moveset for dual katanas when paired with one.
Finally, somebody who uses dryleaf whirlwind. Everytime I see somebody use these things, they just fish for palm blast. The bleed infusion with this weapon is fun because you can go for a heavy attack into whirlwind and get a 6 hit combo that might just bleed twice back-to-back and instantly delete people. Seen it happen a few times, you do like zero damage at the start, then your target just explodes right there and then.
Haven't gotten the bear roar yet. I'm guessing it scales with strength or faith, instead of arcane like Greyoll's Roar? Otherwise it seems to function identically.

Nah, I got a quality build at level 80 that's built for defense over offensive and it's works just fine. 2000 HP, 50% physical damage negation and a +17 bleed infused dane's footwork at 23 str/dex. Could go triple multi-hit buff from the two talismans and physick on a quality infusion for similar results. Quality might be meh but danes footwork absolutely makes quality builds shine.

No input for pvp, but the 2 hand heavy moveset, esp the running R2 is great. Great for non dlc stuff, not amazing for dlc without the Palm Blast
