You were better at 13 than I am at my instrument at 20 even though we started at the same age...😭😭

As a music teacher myself, I can confirm that none of my 13 year old students sound this good. It’s easy to forget how big of an impact teachers have the potential to make on students. Videos like this remind me to step up to the plate and do all I can for my students.

Can you please make a beginner series? I’m about to start playing the flute and would like to learn the basic fingerings and the like by someone like you instead of a book.

the fact that she’s blowing air through a tube with holes and it sounds angelic, I’ve been playing clarinet for three years and struggle sometimes with high notes.

I love your "1+2+" counting written down in the lyrical part. It's so comfortable to see that everybody has the same problems at the first years of learning an instrument :)

Hmmm... i started playing flute when I was 12~13. Im in university now and am not able to play music much anymore. Every time i pick up my flute im filled with frustration at how bad I’ve gotten. I remember in high school I was so self conscious about all my playing because I had friends who were all really good musicians, and I started so late and was never able to afford lessons. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss it. Every time I watch your videos I get inspired to go put my flute together and fumble around for a bit. This video was particularly interesting because it is clear the difference years of practice can make. Progress feels so slow for me when playing flute (or tenor sax, as I picked that up my sophomore year of high school and, due to instrumentation issues, have more opportunities to play that than flute), but this shows me that even just honking whenever I can is progress, because im not giving up! If that makes any sense lmao. What a cute video! Thanks for sharing!
