So many years of pain before the violin starts to sound beautiful. Learning the violin might be the greatest personal sacrifice in order to create great art.

The other day I found a old video of me playing Bach Minuet 1, trying to do my best.... I feel so sad because I didnt continued on this. yes, this is true, because in the first year I practically did not play the violin. I studied with a tutor once a week and that was it, and in the second year I already entered a music school and played almost every day for at least an hour. The teacher explained how to hear false. And in recent years, I began to skip classes more often due to lack of time
I also often heard from teachers that “breakthroughs” happen in music, just like in sports. When you don’t succeed for a long time, even with constant practice, and then you suddenly achieve what you wanted, because you realized something very important. (but this does not apply to my period from 1 to 2 years, because there, really, everything was decided by the time of practice and change of teacher. I was afraid that I would be expelled from school, so I tried very hard to play purely hahahahaha) What I mean is that non-linear progress is normal. There are sharp rises or rollbacks and this is also normal

I’ve been playing for almost 10 years now and have just started getting into it and it’s amazing how far I’ve come when I see videos of me playing twinkle twinkle as a first grader. I recently got a new teacher and she fixed my bow hold to a different kind which was much more comfortable and suddenly I started improving greatly! Keep up the good work!
Love seeing your progress! I’ve been playing for around 8 years and I have to say that I am so impressed with your bow (right) hand!! You’re motivating me so much! I’m learning since two years, but honestly I had more break phases than playing phases since. But knowing that I could be that good within one year, if I stick to it, would be a blessing ❣️❣️

Very impressive. Something good happened to your right shoulder when playng at the tip around 4yrs 8 mths!
Wow, I don’t see the difference👀😂😂 Thank you!
@@NunaLuna maybe it was sooner but that's when I noticed your change from down to up bow had become much smoother.
@@richtrophicherbsoh great! My teacher changed in the middle of 4 year, maybe this has something to do with it
2:07 what etude is this??
Can you play, “Je Te Laisserai Des Mots”? It involves a Duet with a piano but it’s just a beautiful piece. Also, this is rlly cool! I’m a 12yr old girl, (13 in a month) and my parents bought me a violin! I just it two days ago, and the A string is already loose :’) other then that I know basically nothing about the violin except the string names, how to hold the violin (and the bow), upbows and downbows, how to use rosin, and how to clean the violin. I don’t know where to start! I’m not sure how to memorize strings or anything like that.. I love video and I look up to you!
@Razzbee702 oh this is a very beautiful melody! I think I could play it, it doesn't seem difficult. Congratulations on purchasing your violin! You need to find a teacher, and he will help you figure everything out. Do you know Ray Chen? This is my favorite violinist and he has a channel on RUclips, check it out. Here's who you need to look up to
@@NunaLuna thank you so much, I would love to hear that! Also thanks for the help!
@@Razzbee702 It's very cool that you will start practicing before me haha! The sooner you start, the better. This is what I realized after 6 years haha! It takes a lot a lot of practice
@@NunaLuna yep! When I was in 6th grade I did violin lessons at school, it was only 30 minutes a day and once a week, so I really didn’t enjoy it and I quit. I guess I really missed it because I begged for months to try it again and now I have my own! I still wish that I had kept it going when I was a bit younger so I had more experience but that’s okay :))
I play violin 10 years and I play more and less. I left my like for you Hi! And I am from Brazil 😊
Hi! Thank you! Don't give up playing the violin, or I'll catch up with you in skills soon😼
Great video ❤. I wonder what was the song in your 2nd month?
The first melody from the soviet series "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson"
@@NunaLuna thank you 🙏
Wow!!!
Where studing you violin or music?
@@crisJunior1994 the first year I studied with a tutor once a week, and in the second year I entered a music school and studied there for the next 5 years with a teacher 2 times a week
Can i ask why, at 2 years and 4 months, you had the violin on the right shoulder and were playing it backward? (I think that is the right word)
haha it's just my camera :) I always play with a bow in my right hand and a violin in my left. The camera just does a mirror image
@@NunaLuna ah ok.
What is the name of the piece you played in the 2 years and 4 months progress?
I think it's an unknown work by an unknown author, Giorgio Melande, Sarabande. Or perhaps this author is known to everyone, but under a pseudonym. These notes were given to me by my teacher, who loves baroque music. I couldn’t find the sheet music on the Internet and read about the author...
I have a small question
Did u like, took classes for violin?
@@Hansi_321 the first year I studied once a week with a tutor, and from 2 to 6 I studied at a music school and played with a teacher 2 times a week. I like to play with the teacher
И что дальше? Карьеру завершишь? Или продолжишь?
@@istochnikistiny в самом начале видео ещё написала, что буду играть дальше!) Хочу улучшить свои навыки, бросать не собираюсь
That’s amazing!!Did you get lessons or were you learning at home when you were a beginner?
Thank you! The first year I played at home with a tutor once a week. From 2 to 6 years old I learned to play at a music school for adults 2 times a week with a teacher
I am 20, and thinking of starting to learn violin, is it a good idea?
@behzadfasih2680 You can start whenever you want! Of course, it is a good idea if you really like it. I started playing when I was 16 because I wanted to have the ability to play the violin
Your bow hand is amazing! Ive been playing for also six years ! Also if you dont mind telling me what the piece at 6:20 and at 2:42 was called?
Hurray! Thank you! Do you run a RUclips channel? I would be very interested to see how you play :))
6:20 - Carlos Gardel, Por una Cabeza
2:42 - Vivaldi, violin concerto in A minor
@@NunaLuna oh unfortunately I don’t 😅 but thank you for the names!
@@Mel_pelly oh it's a pity😂🙂
My pleasure!
Wow this is really inspiring and awesome, props to you! I hcw a question, you had a teacher or its was like autodidact?
Thank you! Yes, I studied with a teacher from the first year. In fact, I think that the violin is very difficult to learn to play without a teacher. Sooo difficult! I always have so many questions about what to do, which the teacher helps me answer
4:06 whats name of this piece? 😊
Bach - concerto in D minor for two violins
@@NunaLunathank you. 😊

@@oluwanifesimiakinwale4132 Either the teacher gives me notes or I ask if I can play something

Can I ask what brand of violin you are playing?
oh, in fact, the brand isn't even listed there. The teacher ordered it for me from Aliexpress😂
2:17 My first piece🥹
Hahahhaaa! I think every violinist played it! It is very beautiful
Your video is an inspiration, I've only been playing for 5 months and I practice consistently everyday 3-4 hours!

Jules Massenet - Meditation from Thais for Violin and Piano

Did you learn it by yourself or is there a teacher involved?
I always had a teacher throughout my education
