Hello! This is actually simply epic, I write stories and I've been looking for ways to create a timeline of events in Notion. I sort of wished I could use dates that surpassed Notion's calendar limitations and at the same time view them in timeline mode, because I thought that would be best, but the way you showed how to group them, let's say by century, is just awesome because it does the same thing, but practically better. Thank you so much for that!
This is amazing! Thank you so much for making the tutorial and template!! I have been trying to make a timeline for notion for so long and couldn't figure out the best way to organize it for all the functions I wanted it to do. This is perfect and I'm so grateful that you've shared it and helped us understand how to use it. Thanks!!!
Hi! I just wanted to thank you for making this video! I've been looking for this type of timeline template for weeks for an assignment and I'm so so thankful that you made this video!! Lifesaver!! Thank you!!
This is awesome! I’ve been waiting for this video for ages. I study history in different countries and I was wondering how would you align events happening at the same time around the globe during the course of history. Considering that calendars would be different. I’ve also emailed you more details. Keep up good work Red. Thanks
Thanks for that, I will recommend this to my university, we have been looking for a way to make historical timelines :) I started using it but wonder how to put dates BC - can you help?
For events without month and date how can I include them in a Events Master database, instead of separate ones? As this course seems to do? Great episode again!
Hi, this was a very good video tutorial. Thank you very much! I am not very familiar with notion but i am searching for a table app that let me do what you just showed. So i tried it out. However i am having trouble with two things. 1. I am building an earth timeline (like millions and billions years in the past). Is there a way to write dates short (units) using your personal timeline, with the years written in the title? Like 54 Mya? So i dont have write out 54.000.000.? And 2. Is there a way to show eras above a range of groups? like cambrian, jurassic, neogene, etc.?
When I go to relate a new Parent or sub event, all the database entries are in the search box. Is there some way to filter the search box? Thank you for all your hard work.
Great stuff. Girl, you rock. Any ideas on dealing with unespecific dates ?? I mean, how to deal with them in the date field when it's somehing like dec 1915 ?
