- While attending the 7th Winter Cycling Congress in Calgary, I asked a bunch of attendees for some tips and inspiration for winter cycling. And since winter cycling is seen, inexplicably, as a bit of a macho thing, I asked only women. Here's what they had to say.

On the day of my first ride to work in the snow of the year, making my annual contribution to the channel and the author of an excellent book that got me to try biking in winter. This middle-aged woman pedaled 683km from November to April last year on a twenty year old bike with some used studded tires at 61 degrees north. Thank you Tom!
Thank you for the annual contribution! I really appreciate it. I’m so happy to hear that you’re out there in the snow making it work year-round.
Appreciate the funny twist in editing at 2:46 and 3:12 bahahah Also, i just went all the way from the top of this winter biking playlist and i am more than convinced to get on my bike to work daily through this winter (starting my first job ever so doing a bit a research after knowing that saving a year of public transport tickets will pay me a much more decent bike to enjoy my life). So. Keep up the good work. Cheers, from Helsinki Finland.
Great tips!
Lovely women, lovely biking tips!
It's important to ride, all year. Recommend winter mitts and studded snow tires front and back
Totally agree, although I use a studded tire only on the front and it works well for me.
i appreciate you lifting up female voices!
