Picks I Like JOURNEY: 1976 debut through 1981's Escape......CHEAP TRICK: 1977 debut through 1983's Next Position Please....and KISS 1974's second album Hotter Than Hell through Alive II. The debut album's songs are better on ALIVE !
Of course my Favorite Band The Rolling Stones are too Obvious: 1967's TSMR through 1974's IORR, but Get Your Ya Ya's Out would bump IORR. One could never go wrong with Queen, Beatles, Zep, and the Stones.
Neil young from debut thru Zuma is flawless.
The Stones from Beggars Banquet to Some Girls as well
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Mothers Milk, Blood Sugar Sex Magic, One Hot Minute, Californication, By the Way, Stadium Arcadium, I´m with you / I´m beside you. Even two double albums (or one double and two triple by vinyl standards). Last three albums had a couple good songs but weren´t as strong overall, first three albums I´ve yet to check out. I guess oldschool fans might go with Uplift Mofo Party Plan up to Stadium arcadium.
It's a stretch... but maybe Badfinger, if you include the the Iveys album as a 'Badfinger' album, and the six album run from 'Magic Christian Music' through to 'Wish you were here'.
Nazareth-Raz Ama Naz, Loud N Proud, Rampant, Hair Of the Dog, Close Enough For Rock n Roll, Play N the Game, Expect No Mercy.
Ramones- S/ T, Leave Home, Rocket To Russia, Road To Ruin, End Of the Century, Pleasant Dreams, Subterranian Jungle.
Rush- Fly By Night, Caress of Steel, 2112, A Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures
Great choices, particularly Nazareth
Seven? Nope, I don't think there's a single band/artist where I think seven albums in a row are great. I'm fickle, and songwriters aren't consistent (which I say from my own experience). Heck, there's only a handful I think have seven great ones in their whole career.
Jethro Tull is my pick. This Was thru War Child. Or Stand Up thru Minstrel.
I would definitely agree on Stand Up to Minstrel although I think War Child is ok at best…
Queen, Maiden
I agree w/Grant - Cheap Trick did not have a consistent run, they did fall off a bit after Dream Police (in my opinion).
a bit? haha
I'm being nice
@@ericdinse5047 I know
R. E. M.... Lifes rich pageant' to 'new adventures in hi-fi'
Nice, but I'd take Murmur to New Adventures - an incredible 10 in a row.
Love me some Parish

Ronnie James Dio. The first three with Ritchie Blackmore in Rainbow, then two w/ sabbath & two more solo.
Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow
Rising
Long Live Rock & Roll
Heaven & Hell
Mob Rules
Holy Diver
Last In Line
That's three different bands. Doesn't count.
Topic is best 7 album run by a classic band. And someone picked Kix. Lol. Hahahahaha. I know they are obvious. But, elton john, black sabbath, aerosmith, acdc, zeppelin
Would you prefer Mozart or Bach? And Kix is now classic and the top of their genre from the 80s. Sorry for painting outside the lines. I’ll make sure I do better next time.
A bit of a cheat but no denying Ronnie James Dio had a hell of a run!
Rainbow
Rising
Long live Rock n Roll
Heaven and hell
Mob Rules
Holy Diver
Last in Line
Three different bands? Definitely a cheat.
BOC!
Glad this ain't a rerun like yesterday being passed off for a new episode
Tom Petty??
Definitely. Debut to Let Me Up.
moodys !
Pete Pardo had a similar series on his channel called "6 classic album runs"
Id love to hear hair metal on classic rock stations, anything is better than hearing freebird or dream police every day for years on end. I want to know why radio cant mix up hair metal, classic rock and metal with pop and reggae instead of one genre stations ....radio sux ass!
Thousands of bands out there and only a 100 songs played back to back,i hate it!
