While Alex can offer insights based on his personal experience, what cabin crew eat onboard varies significantly across airlines and cultural contexts.
I’m cabin crew in Wizz Air, but in Poland, we as a crew have the same meals as a pilots, a few sandwiches or salads + water.
In some bases crew meals are amazing, it can be even baked potato with chicken, salad and some desert. But unfortunately that’s very different options in every base, some of them better, but some of them terrible😬
US based airlines like Delta and United, they serve cafeteria foods. Often times their menus are a step higher than dog/cat food.

Having watched videos from U.S. based cabin crew youtubers, a lot of them do meal prep at home and pack a large cooler of foods to take with them when they travel for work.
Hey! Work for AF and got as much as you with a light snack to start with when you get to the plane if you are starving and we got our tray much like business with 4 choices, beef, chicken, fish and veggie! Got some bread with a fruit plate and cheeses plate! We do also eat what left over after services, me mostly cause when you have 1st class it is sad to know everything will go to trash after the flight!! 😉

Salut Alexander, ce faci? Thanks for sharing your experience. When I was young taking the plane was really expensive, but experience was a "kind of magic". , especially the food in business and first class! Today flying is really really more affordable! Have a good day!
Lord... the number of people that got their knickers in a twist about the crew food onboard was always a problem. As someone who worked galley a lot, crew food was part of the galley checks and distributing it... I just didn't get involved. I checked it with the catering exec to make sure it was there, then let the other fight over it. Honestly, just crew getting crazy about crew food.

Yes that’s correct, we do have sushi in business class on japan flights 😁 and also we have similar meals for crew, as the j class are
Use to take my own sometimes. We didn't have to coolers crew uses now. Grab food sometimes from crew room. Just in case.

I work for a low cost and we do have coffee, tea... for the passengers, but yeah the company doesn't provide food for us. You have to bring it yourself and you are allowed to heat it onboard😅
So you have ovens! Some low cost don’t even put ovens to reduce the weight as much as possible. Yeaa ain’t easy 😁

My ex was cabin crew with Asiana air and damn they ate well-as an economy passenger with Asiana also their food is nice. I tend to stick to the Korean traditional stuff cause it’s healthier. Many of my male cabin crew -or as they are called in Asian “flight attendants” -they r gym freaks so they don’t worry too much weight gain. SG air is also good with their meals.

All food items should stay on the aircraft
Some countries like Australia and New Zealand strictly forbid any food coming off aircraft.
When you serve a meal, do you kiss a pessegueiro before they eat,as complementary?

For domestic flights only - international flights, food is provided.

I thought pilots had a meal completely different from the general meals served to all others (to decrease the risk of food poisoning).
