In Brazil a lot of people use gentian violet to dye hair, it super pigmented, does not damage the hair, its cheap and has a beautiful cold violet color. Idk if they have there in bali but here we find in any drugstore.
I dyed two money pieces with koolaid when I was a teenager. It was in my hair for 2 years before I could grow it long enough so I could cut the koolaid out. It certainly does stain.
I really thought it was going to work with how bright it was. And I also was scared of the shower staying colored and it looking like a murder scene😂 I would personally not dye your hair with permanent color if you do not intend to keep it and knowing you you probably won’t lol. Because it is much more damaging and harder to get rid of if u want it out of your hair
Lindy: I really hope this dyes my hair. Also Lindy: shit, I didn't think about it dyeing my skin ALSO Lindy: proceeds to leave the juice all over herself while cleaning the whole bathroom and leaving her hair to stain. Lindy: ends up looking the exact same as before the experiment 😂
Girl, try wood aniline dye, gentian violet or methylene blue with a hair conditioner or hair mask. These were the first pigments we brazilians used before getting access to semi permanent dyes.
Tumeric works i dyed my hair yellow with it i followed evelina forsell's tutorial, you could also order hair dye or even just dye your hair with purple shampoo i guess
She should blend it next time, then strain the clumps out, then dye it. Don't rinse it out, but then let it air dry or blow dry it so it's completely dry. And see wat it looks like then. Then, the next day wash it to see if it stays or stained up a bit.
If you ever want to go back to yellow at some point, I know for a fact that a shit ton of turmeric powder and conditioner will get you to a very bright yellow! Done it myself.
@@svenbengtsson9753 You'll definitely want to start with bleached hair for the best results. It does have a tendency to turn brown hair into a deep green that some people may consider unattractive.
Maybe you can go to the hairdresser and ask, if they don't know about some store or if they let you buy some colour from them. But it would be probably weird. I would still try tho.
You can try Fucorcin (sold in drug stores) mixed with water to get bright fuchsia color. Or liquor viridis brillantis for the green. Just don't apply it directly to skin, it should be mixed with water or conditioner. And it stains clothes and skin as well! Both are skin antiseptics. They wash out from hair after a week or so, depending on how often you wash it.
I think it’s cool you’ve done this but a bit disrespectful that you did this in a place you’re staying in. I really hope it didn’t stain the bathroom cause that’s gonna take some cleaning.
i completely agree. It felt out of touch, its one thing to be messy and "quirky" in your own home but this felt like wow i would never invite this person over lol >.
I got confused at first cuz the dragon fruits I usually eat are grey inside 😂 But than I remembered those exist as well hh kinda disappointed that it didn't work, I honestly thought it would stain your hair a little 🤏
@@lilacfoofness We get them imported but they can be quite expensive, I live in France and they are between 8 and 25€ per kilo depending on their origin and the time of the year
It's different colour on the ends because the hair in the mid shaft is so healthy and is holding the dye ok because the cuticle is sealed but the ends are so damaged that the cuticle is all deformed, probably partly missing and open, at least refusing to properly close and reseal and exposing the insides of the hair where the dye is sitting and all the dye is basically falling out.
Turmeric one is work.back then i have blonde hair, and i sant find any neon yellow hair dye, so i use tumeric powder mix it with conditioner, and make sure use a same quantity of both andbits work really neon yellow u should try it
Would there be a salon services shop around ,u can buy dye,I wouldn't go permanent, never get it out, also saw someone use permanent marker dye to dye their hair on RUclips and water colour paint.,what about the dye u put on that guys hair, was that permanent?🤔
Im sure ive seen videos of beetroot actually sort of working. I second the people that said just use food colouring though because surely that would work! Also since other people mentioned mackenzie marie she did sharpies too!
Maybe if it was left in hair for an hour or more maybe it woulda stayed a little maybe try pomegranate juice if they sell it it might stain it since can’t find beets near by
Did that and it worked, also it was easy to get out with little bleach for 3 mins, but lasted in shower. My hair felt fine since it was with conditioner. Not all markes work tho
If u still at Bali, u can use hair dye brand miranda, cause its actually the hair dye im using for this 7 years hahaha its not permenant, its wash out n fade quickly if u wash ur hair everyday hahaha yeah can use tht brand
Some people actually use Kool-aid to dye their dog's fur so that might work better if you can find some. Still had lots of fun watching the dragonfruit experiment 😀
Lindy, there's a sephora in Kuta & a hair mart in Seminyak, I have bought manic panic from both places before. I hope this helps.
this needs more attention!
Up!
Lindy is so brave cutting and blending the dragonfruit with her white tshirt on 😂
This should’ve been the halloween video, such carrie vibes
Big agree

I am a hairstylist and for the love of all things Pablo- DO NOT dye your hair with koolaid!! It will stain and it’s soooooo hard to remove.
I dyed two money pieces with koolaid when I was a teenager. It was in my hair for 2 years before I could grow it long enough so I could cut the koolaid out. It certainly does stain.
Thanks for letting us know. I knew it stained byt i didn'tknow it was that bad
Based on her other videos...I just don't think this is a problem for her.
I think that would be beneficial lol! Splat dye was always my go to because it NEVER left my hair.
I really thought it was going to work with how bright it was.
And I also was scared of the shower staying colored and it looking like a murder scene😂

Hi, the ends fade quick because they are more porous 😘

Lindy being gone for only a lil bit and already suffering the consequences of not preparing bringing bleach or dye!! Lmao and it's 6 months of this 😂
what happened to the weird Australian guy video? :(
Try kool aid!!! So many people say it does an amazing job dying your hair. Mackenzie marie has a bunch of older vids on it ❤
I’ve been looking for kool aid but I’m pretty sure they only sell it in the us 😅
too bad mackenzie marie is an awful person :/
It's probably the food dyes in it so why not just use food dye?
She’ll never be able to remove that lol it’s such a pain to get rid of
Omg no kool aid and food dye is IMPOSSIBLE to remove, dont do it 😢
I actually like your hair with the blonde showing through !

But that is only appliable to a neutral base right?
It worked on my white bleached hair, on brown it can be greenish. Also I tried it with curry and it wasnt so bright

In Germany they sell semi-permanent color in salons, they even got them on display with price tags on.
@@JuliaKirstySo it's probably not such a bad idea. I'm good. xd Applause for me. xd
lots of places in bali do henna art for you skin, surley they sell it somewhere for your hair? or hibiscus tea for a pink tint x

i love when lindy has that hugely proud look on her face when shes COVERED in hairdye
You are so blessed to pull off any hair color!
what lipstick do u use? its such a nice pink🥺
You could try pomegranate, it’s super staining

I knowww they’re grey in the Netherlands too but in Bali they’re hella bright pink for some reason

It's crazy how long your hair has gotten. Plz don't cut it, it looks good on you.
This is next Level chaotic
It actually looks like the fruit acid removed some of the semi permanent colour from your hair. It looks a bit more faded
BEETS BEETS BEETS be careful though bc that WILL stain lolol
What happened to the Australian guy video? :3
What color is that? 🍓😋🍬🥕oh food? Uh ok...😂
4:54 satisfying ash
you need to try the manic panic love hair dyes in the pink tones 😮❤
i screamed when you picked up that dragonfruit
How long are you staying in Bali? A combination of pink and strawberry blonde would look mighty cute though!
"Oh no... oh no" *dumps bowl on her head again*
Haird dye of hardy 😂
I think even with beets you need vinegar to create a natural dye or stain.
I would be interested in seeing you try goldwell permanent dye in the reds. ❤

I recomend you use powder juice, the cheapest one. I saw many videos working as hair dyeing.
Turmeric one is work.back then i have blonde hair, and i sant find any neon yellow hair dye, so i use tumeric powder mix it with conditioner, and make sure use a same quantity of both andbits work really neon yellow u should try it

She really thought a fruit would have a similar composition to hair dye
Girl 👀 do you have a workout routine? Or are you just blessed?
Where did the video with a f*ckboy disappear?...
Something tells me Brad Mondo is gonna react to another of your videos 😂
Did it come out of all the tile and toilet seat in the bathroom?
It happened because your roots are healthier so dye will stick to it vs. on the ends it will fade quicker because your ends are porous :D
Dear god that thumbnail!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Try to add conditioner to the food or something
You never fail to surprise us with something unusual xD I love it xD
Wonder what it would’ve done mixed with developer
11:25 Murder of dragon fruit caught on camera 😂
I mean, pink dye is one of the easiest to get out, I'd say it would be worth using a permanent one.
That lipstick is gorgeous! What is it?
I’m need to know did the bathroom come up clean? 😅
I have dyed my hair with kool-aide. It works!
I really thought it would work, because that's how you extract the pigment out of the beetroots :/
Try beetroot. Or ( secret weapon) pink crepe paper
Maybe if it was left in hair for an hour or more maybe it woulda stayed a little maybe try pomegranate juice if they sell it it might stain it since can’t find beets near by
What about food coloring?
Lindy you are RIPPED damn
If you straighten your hair the colour will literally go back to blonde
Kooky 💕
Yas kween go off
beetroot
Chainsaw massacre 😂
maybe mix it with conditioner ? otherwise I'd still try find beats an mix with conditioner (thin conditioner so doesn't pastelize it)
Maybe try markers with conditioner
Did that and it worked, also it was easy to get out with little bleach for 3 mins, but lasted in shower. My hair felt fine since it was with conditioner. Not all markes work tho
What about cake food dye??? 🤔
That looks like fun, lol
Crêpe papier werkt ook erg goed maar maakt ook heel goed vlekken op je huid en badkamer dus ⚠️
I've seen some people dye their hair with white cream and kool aid, so maybe you could try to find it? Maybe any kid of powdered juice would work
White cream?
@@saltyriz7734 Maybe conditioner? I'm confused too...?

No canned beets? My lazy self was thinking the canned beets already come with the red liquid 😂
Con papel china ✌️💖
maybe you could have put some hair conditioner in it
Ooo intreastingggg
Seems like It's fruit acid even removed some dye
