I think a deeper dark purple with the berry pink st the bottom would help!
The top isnt patchy because of the bleaching but because you started to put the purple on and then diluted it. So where it was initially applied is darker.
I came to say this! Those dark patches are exactly where she put non-diluted color on with a brush

In my experience using adore, you kind of HAVE to use a brush and small sections otherwise it'll be patchy. Its like it has to be worked into the hair. When I take my time it comes out great, but when I just slap it on there it comes out patchy. Also I think mixing it with conditioner could also be causing patchiness, as I've done the same and it came out crazy patchy. Just my opinions from using adore at least a dozen times over the past 15-20 years (not a professional)
Yeah, this dye definitely takes time to get worked into your hair properly. Also, just like you said, I don’t think it’s supposed to be mixed with conditioner, because they sell a clear die.
But it’s such an easy dye to use when you take your time, so I don’t understand why so many people have problems with it

You could buy a very cheap neutral or ash blond dye, like a level 8-10, and it will even out the patchiness and give you a way cleaner starting canvas. You can put it right over that purple, it'll even it out then any further color will be more even(basically a toner.) I really loved that color combo before it washed out thooo 😭🥲
Yesss I always tone my hair down to the level of the darkest patch on my hair and it makes everything sooo even

AND ALSO, here's a tip, put Vaseline at the edge of your hairline to stop skin staining if you get the dye close or on the skin. My mother always did that to stop the hair dye from staining my skin when I kept dying my hair.

I think you should do dark burgundy for roots, or, black root, into red !
That would look really good with a black shadow root, a magenta shade on the purple and some black highlights 👌🏼

I love this this hair color on you, you look very cute i think next month you should do like a periwinkle going into indigo and then in the extensions add black tips it would look soo good on you (also bleach them like once so they match ur hair texture)

Once you switched from putting the dye directly from the bottle to adding conditioner, I felt the patchiness coming on.
I love adore but I always mix in at least a tiny bit of conditioner to get it to spread well. Their lavender on platinum hair is one of my faves. That and soft lavender, to die for.

Opened this video, and within the first 3 minutes I'm already mixing up my next color cuz you get me so excited about color! 🤩 I'm moving through the rainbow without any bleach or color removers. I did pink/red to red/orange to orange/yellow to yellow/green, and now I'm currently transitioning from the green/blue to blue/purple. I'm almost to the end, ending with purple/pink. I call it the rainbow challenge lol I do it every few years. My fried, porous ends add some unintentional, yet welcomed depth 😅

I have the same lavender dye, you’re supposed to apply it on wet hair, makes it much easier :)
Lindy next time you use this dye please follow the instructions on the bottle, and it will work so much better! The dye is supposed to be applied to damp/ towel dried hair. You’re not supposed to mix this hair dye with conditioners or
conditioner based hair dyes ( Like Arctic fox or Manic panic). If you want the color to be less pigmented, Adore sells a clear dye that you can use to dilute their colors. Also, you need to take sections when applying this dye so that you can work it fully into each section.
I use this dye all the time to refresh my hair color, and I never have a problem with it when I apply it the way I mentioned above.
Why don't you do a light blue to a dark blue? I want to see you looking in that color combo

I think if you were to match the depth of the darkest part of the root lighter area instead of using a pastel it would even put beautifully. That haircolor I think also made it patchy.
Idk how hard it would be to ship stuff to you from California. But I am licensed and if you ever need a shopper hookup to then ship haircolor stuff / hair treatment to you that you can't get there I am more than happy to help facilitate that.
I actually really like the colors together, I just think why you’re not liking it is the same reason as before - the top color isn’t saturated enough so it’s not as been. Maybe try a slightly more vibrant purple and see!

Oh Lindy your hair becomes patchy because first you put a pigment straight from the bottle to the top part of your hair and it soaked nicely but then you decide to dilute it so it stays stronger where you put just pigment.
Hear me out my friend.. dark purple shadow root will sort this out for you i like the ombre so much ❤

The purple on top is patchy, because you startede slapping lavender dye on full strength...then you diluted it for the rest. Obviously it would be patchy...
