Our one year old German Shepherd dog, Beck, was very nervous when we first brought home our ginger kitten, Bleu. It took about a week before Beck figured out all Bleu wanted to do was play, and they've been best friends ever since. Here's some more adorable videos of them palling around!

Well as animals they are not subjected to the nastiness of the human condition, but they are often victimized by it. Perhaps this is why they get along, anyway they have made the most of their collectively shared environment.

Amazing how great they are together. That cat wants to be wherever that dog is, and that dog would defend that cat with his life, he truly loves that cat.
Becky is so smart. When she's playing with the dog she's rough but when she is home with blue she's very soft with her so happy Becky knows the difference...

Don’t tell Bleu he’s not a dog lol!! Most cats would want to explore the outside not run around with their canine companions so this is great to see the bond is adorable!!
Sure is great to see, isn't it! Many cats would just watch from the grass with two large breed dogs chasing a ball...not Bleu, nope, he wants to be right in the thick of things ;) I think it has to do with being a ginger, we had a ginger male cat and a male GSD and 2 terriers and the cat loved to harass and chase the dogs, probably worse then this...haha. He used to jump on Sabaka's back (GSD) and ride him like a rodeo bronc buster, twas hilarious and then 5 minutes later, they're just a big ball of sleeping fur babies!
Our cats run around like this, up and down the pergola, circles around the yard. We call it going feral.

Our female German Shepard thought our tuxedo male cat was her odd baby. The mom/son bond between them was priceless. This video brings me much joy. Thanks for sharing.

in South Africa we would say "you're welcome" but after i moved to the USA, i slowly switched over to "no problem" because that's just what's said here. "you're welcome" feels way too formal for most situations, though it is useful when speaking to a judge or a cop or a senator or something. but in most situations, it feels too formal, at least after 20 years of American conditioning

In the city, I only see cats and dogs ran that fast out of danger, fear, or in fights. But here, they run around so fast playing and they look so happy and free.

Blue runs very fast for a cat! You can see his front legs and hind legs intercept when she runs and it's the most beautiful thing ever! Playing with the pups in the field is definitely a great exercise for him!
