This isn't actually an old book, although it does use old-school gaming principles. The complete book is being kickstarted now, so it's very much a modern product.

I think that I have a copy of this, but I don't recall the clothing vambraces item. Yours description of firing 65 tonnes of clothing at your enemy had me in stitches. Really need to give this to my players.
