I love this man. Quaritch is an absolute freak in the best way possible, a villain you love to hate. He's the Terminator. When he screams "Masks on!" and doesn't even wait for anybody to get secure, when he's holding his breath, even pulling out his pistol once his assault rifle is depleted, it's hard not to find him inspiring. And then when his gunship is going down and he's strapping in to his mech his shoulder is on fire, but he doesn't have time to put the fire out because if he doesn't strap in he's going to die, so he just let's his shoulder burn. He's a freak, a machine, a force of nature. I could see him being a part of Eywa and turning the people of Pandora into absolute jingoists and xenophobes --- I mean, he's a killer, he'll kill for the RDA, he'll kill for Eywa, he doesn't care, and he wants others to participate with him in violence. He drinks his coffee while people happily commit murder for him, he's horror personified. Whether he's with the RDA or Eywa, he's somebody that absolutely must be stopped. Now I loved Lang in Last Exit to Brooklyn, his performance as Harry was remarkable. And that's no disrespect to Jennifer Jason Leigh, who's all you hear about when that film is brought up, but for me Lang stole the show.
"People take 2 or 3 times to watch the movie to understand the story" Honestly so true. The first 2 times watching the movie(when it came out) I understood the plot. Recently I started watching it A LOT(Honestly probably once a day in a week). And every time I watch it again I understand it even more, you start to notice subtle things like facial expressions that add to the story that a first watch won't show you.
This actor is fantastic and he's a villain in this avatar movie's that you love to hate, his movies that are also fantastic are vpw, don't breathe 1 & 2 tombstone wish he had played cable in Deadpool.
30 minutes of questions about Avatar which is really just an action film, and yet Lang's acting work in 'Gods & Generals' as Stonewall Jackson was Vastly superior and far more in-depth a performance, and yet not a single reference in any Q asked

Stephen Lang was originally going to play Cable in the original script for Deadpool 2 before Josh Brolin got the role😅
Don’t Breathe 2 was off the chain!
Stephen Lang as Deathstroke!
He predicted himself in the sequel right towards the end lol.
More like the journalist predicted, and he agreed ;)
He was in Fire Down Below starring Steven Seagal!
Would never know he was Ike Clanton in Tombstone
0:11 Avatar Highest Glossing film of all time
