I love that my favorite things knitwear is increasing her size inclusivity. Even if she doesn't go back and update old patterns, making the change going forward is a huge step. 🧡

I know you released this video a while ago, but I was wondering if you would make like a little short showing how you would weave in the elastic or did you mean like fold over an elastic band?

My vision board is similar to yours even though I am quite a bit older. I also appreciate your discussion of different yarns you recommend. Thank you!

Oh I think you’re talking about Michelle from Muchelleb regarding the bag/ checklist system. Super genius!! Also lovely podcast as always ❤️ it’s getting me into the summer mood!

Hi! Swede here!🇸🇪🩷 I love how you pronounce “Salutorget” like “saLUUUtorgETTE”, it almost sounds French hihi🩷 If you pronounce it more like “sAAALuTORget” it will be more accurate in Swedish. “Salutorget” means “the square market” or “the French market” and is usually on a big square with fruits- and flower sellers 💐Now I mean it doesn’t really matter but if I remember correctly you like to pronounce things as close to the original as possible ❤️
Such a good video, as usual 🩷

Although I’m not a knitter, I am intrigued by the mesh trend and I love crocheting lacy tops and cardigans to throw over a dress or tank top in the Summer. My favorite Summer yarn is Paintbox Metallic DK (cotton/polyamide) because of its shine and drape. It feels like I’m wearing a comfy tee but makes any outfit look a little dressier. It’s also machine washable (in a mesh bag), dries fast (in the dryer or on a clothes rack).

Hi, Emily! For the Nurture Bralette you plan to make with KFO Cotton Merino, are you planning to hold it double? I’m currently using it for a Cumulus Tee for my mom, and it just seems like it would be too thin for a garment with zero or negative ease. I would be worried that it wouldn’t be dense enough of a fabric to cover what it needs to cover. I haven’t swatched for the Nurture Bralette at all yet, so I’m interested to see if it would work!

Great question! For the bralette I will hold it single since the pattern is written for fingering weight, and my plan is to use smaller needles and knit a smaller short row size to make it a bit more snug than my first version

Oh, I’ve seen that picture of ivory net market bag with pears on Pinterest and it drove me crazy! And I made it last summer in few colors! Maybe I’ll make a tutorial someday, cause it’s really awesome🥰

I absolutely love the KFO cotton merino. I just finished knitting a my little secret crop (Jessie Maed) and it only used two balls! Next project with the cotton merino is going to be the mika tee by Yarn Me Up.

This summer I've been really drawn to some recent dress patterns so I've just casted on the "AllGood dress" by Knitomy in Tynn Line, which is very nice to work with. I'm thinking it'd be an easy dress to just throw on in hot days/going to the beach. I've also had my eye on several knitted shorts but haven't decided on a particular design. Am very curious about Woolbeyond's one coming out though!

I think I need to try knitting the Nurture bralette. As an older chick who grew up in the 70s, back then it seemed more common to go without a bra...and this seems like it may be the next best thing 😅. I plan on knitting a market bag called the Ilene.

Kelbourne has a new cotton yarn called Skipper. I need to take a trip to my LYS to check it out. I've never tried knitting with cotton. Maybe this will be my first. It says it's un-mercerized. I have no idea if that's something I'd want or not.

Just came across your podcast and enjoyed it, Ty!though I must say I both smiled and did a lil lol cuz I realized I was in the test knit with ya for the Nurture Bralette by Celine. I absolutely agree it’s a great design and fit, she’s an incredible designer.
Look forward to more episodes and seeing more of your beautiful creations

I feel the same way about knit or crochet shorts. Apart from the pilling, I'm really worried about the bottom sagging (further to your point about falling for a well posed picture).

Great podcast as usual. What is that bag in your thumbnail and is it a pattern? If it's not a pattern if you could direct me to where you saw it, maybe I can modify the shoulder straps on Sari's bag when it is released, as I like those wide knitted on straps better.

It’s not a pattern to my knowledge, but I saw it on Pinterest. It’s check out the Marlene market bag by Bobbie Fitzgerald for a similar construction and it’s a free pattern on Ravelry!

Love the video, Emily! Thank you :) I hope you are doing well and staying cool out there. I love the comment about the shoulder boulder holder 😂. Also so glad you shouted out the knit shorts. I accidentally purchased 3 skeins of the Tykk line yarn thinking it was the tynn line (it was during a sale and I wanted to try out Sandes Garn yarn) and wasn’t sure what to do with them! Thank you again for the content ✨😄

Have you tried Hikoo CoBaSi as a summer friendly yarn without any wool in it? It’s cotton, bamboo, silk mix with some nylon for stretch. I haven’t tried it myself but have seen some positive reviews of it as a summer sock yarn.

@@highfiberknits Just had a look at the Nurture Bralette - as a small rib cage, large cup size woman I had discounted bralettes but maybe, just maybe 🤔
I also spotted that she recommended the Hikoo CoBaSi as a possible yarn sub!
      Thanks for the inspiration x
