Thank you so much for sharing. I worked there from 90-95. Left 2 weeks before the fire. Was so very sad. It was the best time of my life. Made some amazing life long memories there. Even meet my now husband there.
I went Old Tucson Studios on a school trip back in 1978. Thank you very much for bring back old memories. Have a beautiful and blessed weekend. LORD GOD Bless and stay vigilant.
Thank you for posting this, huge memories for us. My husband (Pat O'Brien) was a stuntman in these shows back when they did a gun fight bank robbery on horseback (extremely well trained horses). His forte was the roof fall (former gymnast) I have photos of those shows. Just wish we had videos instead as they were far more exciting back then; you stood across the street as the audience and felt as though it was real. Thanks again for doing this video, kinda all that's left of that era.
I was there in 1983 as a 13 year old kid with my family traveling back to Texas from California on vacation. It was Awesome!!! Now 50 i want to go back!!!😎
Wow I lived in Tucson from 1971-1978 and visited old Tucson this the first time in 2020 that I've learned that old Tucson was burne ed to the ground, I hope it looks like it did before the fire. Just going down memory lane while in quarantine.
Thanks for posting this I have VHS that I changed to disc but now have no disc player that works I will try to post my video from '94 , old tucson just isn't the same now , still worth the visit though
It is really sad that some arsonist has set fire to virtually all outdoor film sets / studios over the years so much history destroyed all for no reason whatsoever .
At 13:30 this is it the barber shop, no electric, no gas, nothing inside to start the fire but fire marshal said that from the burn pattern that it started here.

Thanks, Holly.
I used to go there every summer with my grandparents in the 70’s. I got to meet James Garner when he was filing there. I loved that place.
I was there in 2000 after the fire and it was still a great place to visit . Hope someone opens it back up for viewing !
