👏👏👏 It’s been an epic year for SB & these have been on my must have list since the early images came out. I was super bummed I missed out on the site release but owning a pair was non negotiable for me. Happy to say they’re on the way to me now, thank you eBay!
Been a fan of born x raised since 2016 back when Jacob Starr put me on. The resell price is crazy but shoe is worth the craze. Had to get this even tho it broke the bank a lil.
These are clean and I absolute love 'em idc what anyone says. But with that said, that resell price is REAL TOUGH ngl and I personally dont think its worth that.

Sucks for those who actually put miles in their shoes because they are a tough pair. And they def are only valued at 130. The whole scarcity of supply and high demand is not exactly what this trend should be. Wear your damn shoes

For me these sneakers are absolutely the Nike SB dunk of 2023! The details are crazy amazing especially the Nike swoosh hologram, the storytelling(R.I.P. Mr. Spanto-great guy), the colorway are so beautiful(blue, white & pink-FIRE!). Everything on these sneakers are magical. So damn good! 😊
Being from the LBC I love BXR; they’re big here in SoCal. I buy most of their stuff…so much in fact that I got an email from BXR saying I had early access and was able to get a pair. The day before they dropped my homie’s wife hmu asking what shoes to get him for his birthday. I told her about these and she asked if I could get them. So I did, hopefully I can come across them again sometime.
Love this shoe and for the record if you buy the brand you got early access. Great shoe thanks for the review the details are second to none and show everything the brand is about in one shoe. Wish the swoosh was different but still the best sb all year

I was lucky enough to grab a pair on the low from a friend who works at a skate shop in Philly right before big homie passed away 🙏. IMO these are definitely sneaker of the year from Nike SB. Comfy at too.

Backdoor SB of the year
Good shoe not in my top 5 SB dunks for me but that's I'm not crazy by the CW. But the details and the pinks laces 🔥🔥🔥. It definitely wins as the SB's with the best details. My favorite part is the hollowgraph. If I can get me a pair between 375-400 I will. 💖 PS: love the charity !

Got a dub at my local skate shop (from EU), surprised they got 10 pairs/size (for the common sizes) usually with raffles it ranges from 3-8, blessed

Cats have no idea what these meant to Spanto, BxR, or any of us who’ve been riding with them since jump. This ain’t your typical sw brand that’s about hype and nothin else. BxR has substance, and the shit means something deeper than some clown copping and throwing it on StockX. Those of us loyal for years got early access - who else does that? Shit means something and that doesn’t happen anymore.

Amazing kicks, and I get it, but not my favourite over the last few years.
These aren't touching the CSC's or Yuto's. There are literally 2 SB Dunks that look crazy similar that were released over the last 2 years and way more dunks that look so similar. People jocking these because of the release, the brand and dude's untimely passing.
Worth the hype? Yea. Worth the price from the hype? Absolutely not.

Agreed. They could’ve been better without the text. Everything else is fantastic- well except for the online drop. And the resell price is not worth it. Dunks aren’t that comfortable to ever be more than $150. Some material on some of the SB Dunk collabs are very nice so that’s why I say $150 at most. But the overall comfort is meh 😑

Sorry Foamie, these fall into the same tier as the Trophy Room 1’s, where the release and scalping by resellers (especially taking advantage of Spanto’s death) makes them ugly by default

One of the few things that I really hate about human beings is how opportunistic they can be. I go on stockx and these are almost $600 in my size and the only thing that comes to mind is that the brand creator passed away tragically so people jacked the prices up like crazy. If you're that type of person, the ones who jacked up the resale price of Kobe's after he died, the type who would jack the price up on these after the creator died....you're scum.
The Hype went thru the roof for literally ALL the wrong reasons on these. Kinda disgusting honestly, legit. It would be different if the hype was because they rocked with dude like that, but you know it isn't. Simply an opportunity for cash grab profiting from the loss of someone. Completely turned me off of them.
