+Blake's Garage A great track! I'm intimidated with this track since there aren't reliable run-offs and walls are everywhere. But I see now why this is a favorite to many track rats. Every corner sets you up for the next! I think this is my 1st on the list with Thunderhill being close second, and third being Laguna Seca.
White Wing STI I did the Audi experience driving the R8 and RS5 on Sonoma it was so much fun the track is amazing. But your right there's no place to go if you screw up. Thats the nice thing about thunder hill dirt for days.
+Blake's Garage Unfortunately, the day had a lot of drivers crashing in all run groups. But if you really take the time to learn the track and progressively build your confidence throughout the day; the track will bless you with awesome track time. I'm looking forward to seeing you out on the race track with your WRX.
Just got an STI only motorsport experience is 2 years of autocross in an RSX type s and a lot of sim racing haha...been wanting to track since I learned to drive stick but too scared something on the old car might break off..Going to be taking the STi out this summer to my local track.. Just hope I can get over the speed lol
+Christian Herrero Congrats on the STI. Track duties will be hard on any car. Make sure you take proper precautions and preparation when you track your STI; especially if you plan on pushing the motor output with bolt-ons, etc. Have fun out on the track and be safe.
Christian Herrero I think I read from the forums the 2016 models has an updated ECU factory map that removes that lean spot that was present on the 2015. But you can't go wrong with a Protune Stage 1.
+Nickolas Mimilis I know. Just as I was getting more confident too. I could have broken in to less than 2 minute lap time I set for myself. But yea man... I have yours and Kim's contact info. I will definitely get in contact with you guys for next time. Stay safe man.
Good observation you got! Had he kept the line straighter, more compact, I think I would have taken a little longer than I did here. But one day I'd want one... Out of luxury sports cars, Porsches are consistently seen out on the track. Rarely do I see BMW's, Audi's or Mercedes Benz's. Porsche has some great sports cars.
+White Wing STI i agree.. Porsche has been the most common luxury ive seen at all the events i attend. Just wish people would understand it 90% driver and 10% car.

I was planning on keeping it stock and going hard with maintenance but now im hearing stage 1 might be better for the car?

its funny how much that Porsche was bobbing and weaving.. way to keep it simple and clean. nothing like passing a car that costs double what your in.
