Well, that was in the days when Floyd and Abba, among others, were coining it so big that their money men were speculating on the global oil spot market. They got burned. But there were plenty $250.00 per ticket gigs over the years so they're OK. I have to say I was lucky enough to see them for free a few times in London when London was the epicentre of rock. 1967/68/69/70. Camden Borough Council, no less, headlined them at at a concert at Parliament Hill Fields Bandstand,. Later we had Fleetwood Mac - the real Mac, with Peter Greene. I've been listening to Pink Floyd since I was 11. The love for this legendary band was instilled in me by my late father. Now I am 60 years old, I have grandchildren, and we all listen to Pink Floyd together in the garden under the apple tree. They bring me herbal tea and cover my legs with a blanket, and sit next to me and listen to David Gilmour's guitar tricks. I don't tell them that listening to Pink Floyd is bad. I don't tell them it's good to listen to Pink Floyd. They have their own thoughts, and I will never keep up with them.
My life is so terrible because I always make mistakes, but there is one thing that always makes me feel happy and forget my miserable life for a while. That thing is to listen to Pink Floyd music. I feel great whenever I listen to their songs. Pink Floyd is so amazing a progressive rock band.
It's so different being from a newer generation trying to get the full experience of these bands. My mom flew from San Francisco to England when she was 17 by herself to meet up with some friends and went out to a club one night with some guy where she got to meet Roger Waters and some of the Stones. She really grew up in the heart of the psychedelic era and got to experience it in its full glory (although now she testifies that a lot of the times weren't so glorious, ha). The caliber of musicianship displayed by bands like Pink Floyd is something seldom seen today unfortunately. But I'm thankful for uploads like this and an imagination.

A great song , (though it might lead to depression and frustration ), specifically the haunting music, the lyrics, and the melody, it's about the longing for human interaction. The phrase "Hey You" implies calling out to someone (for example, "Hey you over there"). Following that phrase in every verse is a person in some sort of desperate or pathetic scenario. Most of these scenarios are pretty general but some are specific, for example, "You out beyond the wall breaking bottles in the hall," which gives the impression of a rebellious teenager, or "You standing in the road always doing what you're told," which gives the impression of someone who is very timid and indecisive. Following these scenarios in every verse is a question asking for human interaction, and as the song goes on these questions become more desperate in every verse: "Can you feel me?" "Would you touch me?" Can you help me?" In scheme of the album as a whole the song is about how although people put up their "Wall" to keep people out, they desperately but hopelessly long for real human interaction , it really knocks my socks off

Hello, I really like Pink Floyd ... This song brings back a lot of memories to me. It was my wedding slow in 1992. We didn't speak English !!!! Even if we didn't understand, we found the vocals and all your music and the girls' voices for other songs, they have a wonderful voice. THANKS FOR YOUR SHARING.
I LOVE this band and this guitar man. They have been significant not only in my life but my children. And I will be sure, my grandchildren will get it to. Thank you doesn't do it. Your music and lyrics always moved me. 3 generations boo. Y'all's music could always bring me up when things were at their worst. Forever and a day, always respect. Much love and admiration my friends. Nothing but best wishes for you and your family. 😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗 Sincerely, Blondie from Morgan City, LA.
Pink Floyd was and is still the greatest band of all time. David Gilmour is the most soulful guitarist of his and all generations...a masterful musician who plays on your emotions! I will sorely miss them after having experienced them live on 4 different occasions.
Young John Carin does a lot of respect to Roger's vocals here and he's also a charm of a man and a great musician in general. No wonder Roger chose to stick with him so many years after that.

Escucho Pink Floyd hace 40 años y aún me conmueven ciertos temas.

I come from the year 5630 from a planet called Sysyphus. We learn and teach Pink Floyd to our children from day 1 till eternity!
I come from the future to tell y'all that Pink Floyd still rules in the year 4000!
Pink Floyd was and is still the greatest band of all time. David Gilmour is the most soulful
guitarist of his and all generations...a masterful musician who plays on your emotions! I will
sorely miss them after having experienced them live on 4 different occasions.

OPEN YOUR HEART,I’M COMING HOME
The best of the Word.
Young John Carin does a lot of respect to Roger's vocals here and he's also a charm of a man and a great musician in general. No wonder Roger chose to stick with him so many years after that.
Beautiful vocals and amazing guitar work - a rare combination of talents!
Phenomenal version. Amazing solo and a great performance by Jon Carin in the end, this is hard stuff to belt out in the end
When I listen pf, the time stops. Absolutely legend.
love Floyd and found their instructions to a better understanding of reality or does it come down to your specific cause, NO I stand true to my new understanding of this being HEAVEN or HELL, yes I have learned and trueness of what I have recently learned. thanks, for being in my head.!
Is a connection with the Univers and It's the Best song în the world!!!
These songs would be great for other life forms to understand the human condition.
Show.
Great channel. Pink floyd. U did it❤
viva Jon Carin. tremendous talent
This is the greatest combination i ever seen..Just thank you David Gilmour and PINK FLOYD.
Pink floyd in m'y heart forever...
Jon carin is the name of the guy who sang that last verse. He's so brilliant at getting the desperation of that verse in his voice.
I thought only I had noticed, I found it amazing how it puts the desperation that music needs.
his singing Dogs is awesome
It's absolutely brilliant.
Even before I hear I know it’s better.
God, this song brings me so many memories, I miss you so much, I miss you so much, I miss you so much. I just hope that one day we meet again, I will love you forever, RIP LOVE.

nunca me aburro de escuchar a pink floyd
It a group I see live 8 or9 time over here in uk
I saw that show twice. Thanks for the memories. :)
Pasadena Rose Bowl 1994! One of the best concerts, I will never ever forget!
looking on RUclips at SATANISTS REACT TO PINK FLOYD
Tickets for "THE Pink Floyd" at Hollywood Bowl in 1972 were $6.50; 2days = $13. Best times of my life! Bummed that I came to my RUclips channel recently to take yet another trip down memory lane (as I'd done often) & found it removed. Well, the "powers-that-be" can't erase my mind... not YET anyway!
The wall 1984 at the forum ..
David Gilmour the greatest guitarist in the solar system
How Do You Fallow Up A Great Song ,
