How much energy can be obtained by burning different fuels and how much less fuel will a gasifier consume compared to a direct combustion boiler? Gasifiers are always more economical than direct combustion, up to 30%, and more environmentally friendly. Plastic burned in a boiler will produce acrid smoke, while a gasifier will turn everything into useful gas.
I will show you the figures comparing a gasifier and a boiler heating 100 m2 of a typical house. It is considered that, on average, 1 kW of thermal energy per hour is needed to heat 10 m2 of area. According to the latest European research, it was possible to ecologically utilize plastic waste without PVC by converting it into gas in gasifiers. Maximum 40% by mass of fuel.
