Great video. I love watching folks doing a deep dive into their keyboard’s features - and you do a great job explaining what you’ve discovered. Thank you for sharing.
Looks like I'm going to have my ew425 for a while, so will be watching anything you do about the ew425 with much interest. Thanks for your videos. Thumbs up!
Thank you so much for pointing the settings out. It makes it so much easier to set things up with your instructions (rather than hunting the settings down). I would just like to mention the wet / dry setting is not reverb but it is the rotating effect mix being reduced or increased as apposed to a straight sound with no rotary effect. One thing I would like to see is the rotary speaker "speed" controlled by a foot switch rather than a knob, since my left hand is usually busy playing bass. I looked but I didn't see a way to do that under the pedal controls although the "Art" setting can turn on the "Articulation" button which sort of sounds like a fast speed rotary but it is a vibrato instead.
Appreciate you. Am about to purchase the e473 and this is exactly what I was looking for. Was almost considering buying a rotary speaker to go with it because I need that sound to satisfy my needs in starting out. This is so awesome and saves me buying an extra piece of gear. 😊
Thanks so much! It's not as functional as an external rotary would be, but it's not bad at all. I so wish the 425 had drawbars, that would really push it over the edge. Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe
No unfortunately Yamaha is still only providing 2 chord fingering methods in the PSR-E keyboards; multi finger or smart chord. They really need to catch up with the competition with that! Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe
@@MUSICAHOLIC999 They're both great choices with their unique advantages. PSR-E473: Better speakers, left and right line outs, mic input GO:Keys 3: More "piano like" key action, more chord detection modes, and the chord tracker is a massive feature FYI Roland has lent me a GO:Keys 3 to do some videos on so I will be doing a comparison to the GO:Keys 5 and possibly some other keyboards so stay tuned for that.

Sir, does PSR E 473 can do bass inversion? Or fingered on bass? So we can play chord like C/G?

@@PianoTone thanks for your reply. I have subscribed. I am still confused whether to buy E473 or Go keys 3
