Rather satisfied e-423 owner from years ago, glad to see they're still developing this line! Affordable keyboards with better and better features, especially for entry-level instruments. And I remember people being rather anxious for a 473, seeing as how long 373 has been out. Glad they went and made it finally hehe
I bought this keyboard about a month ago, it is fantastic. I don't read music that well, so I mainly play by ear which is quite sore, maybe I should use my fingers. 😃
I just order one incredible keyboard what I like you can add a mic and sing not Need to bring mixer speaker as I played in small restaurant very helpful and less luggage’s with the stand and you can easily take the train with it
The Yamaha piano source is the CFX Grand piano however the E473 piano is now a 'Live!' voice with more detail. All of the sounds are great though, some have Super Articulation Light as well. Thanks for watching! Regards, Barry
Playing feel of CT-S1 is better, more expressive. Also sound is significantly better, esp. piano sounds are amazing! But as you might know it isn't' an arranger keyboard, so it's hard to compare...
If you only consider sounds, Casio CT-S1 all the way. If you consider playing feel, I don't know, I still have to try the PSR E473 to know which is better.
These are two very different keyboards. In any case, being an arranger keyboard, the E473 is much more powerful and flexible, with more sounds, styles, realtime controls, editing capabilities, sampling, a much more powerful amplification system... Regarding sounds, the ones in the CT-S1 are very good but the axoustic piano sound of the E473 is also excellent, and it's a matter of personal taste at the end of the day. Other sounds, such as the electric pianos, might be a bit better on the CT-S1, though. Regarding the keyboard feel, I particularly don't like the Casio very much, but it's a matter of personal taste.
Hello ......thank you for your great effort with this tutorial, I've just got this keyboard, but I'm unable to find out how to normalize the left side with the right side (one voice) to play chords with accompaniments on both sides as I have in my PSR s500, for example, I would play the chords on the right side and it would normally sound with the accompaniments, and I can't get this to work on e473, I don't like the smart chord and it seems there is only 2 options of "multi" and "smart chord", is there a way to turn them both off? .... thanks a lot
A minor point is the polyphony of 64 while my PSR 9000 has polyphone of 128 , my psr 9000 has 8GB compact flash and 65MB ram, I've added also Tyros 3 sounds, latest firmware.
Although it is possible to add more styles, the E473, like all the other models in the PSR-E series, does not include a style editor to create new styles from the keyboard itself; the only thing you can do is changing the sounds of each track. Also, as long as it does not include mega-voices, it is not compatible with SFF styles as the ones used by the PSR-S series.
@@rea639 I know that PSR E473 aims the amateur market. I just replied to Sonia how she would've wanted someone to answer her (or him, maybe it is a guy with a female username). A lot of brazillian keyboardists HATE keyboards with speakers. Well, I need built-in speakers, so that I can fit the keyboards in my small apartment 🤷
I'm not sure if anyone will see this comment, but I'm trying to raise funds to purchase the PSR E473 keyboard to help me cope with my depression. Any support would be greatly appreciated.❤

I’m new to playing any instruments, and I plan to play the piano, will this organ a good alternative ? For now? For a complete beginner?
Is the live concert grand the same sample as CONCERT GP that’s been used on the PSR E 373 ?

@@DJIncendration are we saying the 373 is a different piano sample to the 473 ? Can anyone confirm?
@@dougie6897 They're the same samples.
I decided to buy the PSR-E473. After switching from ancient psr-270 I must say that the quality of the new one is overwhelming

You can 😅
Between E473 and Casio CTS 1 which one in you opinion has a better playing feel and sounds?

To play the lower notes found on an 88 key piano.
