Lesson learned the hard way: Any time you crank an engine with the spark plug removed, give that spark someplace to go. The easiest thing to do is pop the plug back into the end of the ignition lead, and wedge the plug up into the chassis.
If you don't do this, the ignition will still make sparks, but they will be forced to arc through the dielectric insulation in your coil, leaving pinhole burns, and another possible path to ground. Your engine becomes hard to start, but idles OK, and then stumbles and misses when the throttle is opened wide. The only cure is a new coil.

Carry a small bicycle pump with you, one of those whose with 2 openings, so it can work on more or less any type of valves, even tho these might seem to be inefficient at pumping a tire up to around 30PSi, it is plausible, especially if you have an old motorcycle with an inner tube.
on the other hand, you can get a foot or hand pump, specially made for pumping either car or motorcycles tires, for around 30USD online, that can be quit compact and efficient.

First off excellent video just watched before I finish my coffee and go for my morning walk.
For some reason this video makes me feel old, considering I'm coming up on 43 years of riding motorcycles, I think of all the flat tires I had and mended over years, every motorcycle I have own has had a least one or more flats on it. I don't consider it tire repair most if not all kits are just to get you on the road. I'm old enough to remember when the shops repaired tires and not automatically just sell you a new one I learned how to do inside patches and plug in Motorcycle Mechanics School, my old 1983 Kawasaki GPZ 550 repair manual even had a section in it on how do it.
I have tried just about all the repair kits on the road, the ones with the rope type plug, glue, and the T-handles the break first you use them, I've patched tubes, I have carried the CO2 kit, a small bicycle hand pump and even at one time had that valve thing that screwed into a spark plug and supposedly pumped air into a tire, the one time I needed it to work it didn't. I even used one of those foot pumps, people with bad knees and ankles (like me) shouldn't use those.
Currently I use Dynaplugs and one of their pumps the kit fits into a small case.
I do like the chucks and air hose setup I might have to make one up I got an old bicycle pump Im not fond of. 😆
The fire thing I've seen videos of Russian truck drivers doing that.
FortNine is definitely a 👍 I shared this video on facebook.

Kudos to the FortNine team for ANOTHER great video! The "Proof of Concept" written on the balloon was the sort of humor (I know...for you, it's "humour") I've come to know and love. I'm glad you're part of the motorcycle community!

Would be a good idea to shut the fuel off to the carbs and hold the engine at full throttle, or for efi pull the fuel pump fuse. Gasoline in the tire just sounds bad.

One small error though : the bottle isn't freezing because of something endotermic, because there are simply no reactions at all. These are simply the consequences of the ideal gaz law (PV=nRT) .

"Endothermic" is not just a chemistry term, it can apply to any process that sucks up heat. He's using it correctly.

my pony pump seats the bead of my tyres every time. I change my tyres myself, jumping between Anakee Adventure and Anakee Wild on my R1250GSA and I never go to a tyre station to inflate and seat the beads. I always use my portable little pump connected to the DIN plug (that I’ve connected directly to the battery, bypassing the CAN-bus). This pump fits nicely in the tool box fitted to the bike. I also carry there some material to repair tubeless punctures.

You should only do this with a fuel injected engine, just take of the injector electrical connector. With a carburated engine you will also pump fuel into your tires. Not so good... (I love my old boxer)

    Good morning to you FortNine,,,
I just want you to know how much I enjoy your videos. I got my 1st road bike in 2019 of November the 22nd I believed I bought her home..
    She's a 2013 Trumph Street Triple S.
No restrictions making between 107, to 111 HP. She has been tinkered on some but for the most part is stock.
If you have any tips for me I'm trying to get a RUclips channel going.
I know many people ask you to check
out there channel's,,,you may not have time and I understand..
Never the less I think you're great dude,,, Thank you for your wonderful.
    videos.

Come for the MC knowledge, stay for the science. Stoichiometry, check. I mean seriously, when was the last time you saw a RUclipsr pull out a chalkboard and actually make sense? Well done, Mr. FortNine, love your channel!
