Oooh I’m so excited to more of Monica Rambeau 🎉🎉
Hopefully they tell us why she was not so keen on hearing about Captain Marvel in Wandavision? Did she give her mom cancer or is she upset she was gone for so long and never fulfilled her word (coming back)?
Out of all of the Marvels, she’s the only one I liked. Hopefully who she was in WandaVision doesn’t get ruined by trying to virtue signal in The Marvels. Let her character speak for itself instead of telling us how important she is. If she’s good, we’ll show up for her.
@@squiggs928 ?? From all the Marvels in the comics thus far or just those in the MCU? Cuz ur also forgetting about old lady MarVel😅but anyways idk how anyone can not like imman🤣she’s so great even if people are prejudging an actually genius move by Marvel within the arc being made up by these first couple installments of hers
@@squiggs928 Ms Marvel is great,. How can you not like her? Her tv series was up there with Wandavision as the best tv series in Phase 4.
@@squiggs928 Such backhandedness. Nobody needs the likes of YOU to show up.
Yo' Nia DaCosta fiiiione! I know she the director, but she need to be in front of the camera.
Finnnee!
Teyona is glowing.✨️
Omg I love this interview!!!! And I love his bow tie! 🙂
He's Gross acting racist comments
@@johnconnor4749 What ?
I know that set was funny as hell with these two 😂😂😂
“Monica”’s response to the question following minute 1:25 🤣
What ?
i love the vibes of this interview and the interviewer. and his bowtie is so cool. i want one for myself :)
hmm we haven't seen Monica fly yet though so this is a nice confirmation
I mean she flies in general 😏😏
Wth? Why did you copy brie larsons interview here? And put "
😑😑
when you listen to some of nia da costa's candyman interviews and even her captain marvel 2 interviews..she is very pro-black ..and didn't like candyman killing mainly blacks in the original candyman movie..so she course corrected this in her new candyman movie....monica rambeau was originally captain marvel and the 2nd leader of the avengers after WASP even though most foirget that it was wasp not monica rambeau who was the first avenger and first leader too..nia da costa mentioned this a few times in interviews...i believe that it was nias da costa and teyonah parris that changed the title to the marvels...not the mcu or kevin feige....in phase1,2, 3 the mcu controlled everything..but since phase 4 they've given all powers to the directors.......
what is wrong with you
Where did you get this information?
please stop being anti black. thanks
@@suzygirl1843its been comfirmed that the directors have the power now and they're right lol in the first captain marvel maria rambeau was sidelined and they only used her to uplift carol danvers. And they removed monica rambeaus father which in the comics she loved and looked up to him a lot lol but in the movie they made her look up to carol danvers🫤captain marvel sucked the marvels is gonna give monica the recognition and respect she deserves
@@hiimluis429 No. Seems like a divisive rumour nerds came up with because they're threatened by female friendships. How come Natasha/ Black Widow and Wanda never attempted to become friends? Black Widow was only ever the support for the male team members and never sought relationships with the women. Yelena was created specifically to retcon her whole identity resting on the Avengers "boys".
Teonah is very sweet . She is very positive and seems nice person. I like her more than Brie Larson.
there are already plenty of black women in the mcu .....Tessa thompson...the whole black panther cast.......riri Williams....Maria rambeau.....etc
Lol so? So much white men why you just mentioning the "too many black women"
Too much haters and trolls like you. Grow up.
In the comics Rambeau was the first captain marvel before Brie's character, the fact that this movie/people behind set are pretending how much of a win this is for diversity makes no sense, the film director doesn't even seem passionate about the universe, I read somewhere in the article that she wanted to created "her own universe" while filming this movie.
it was nia dacosta and nia dacosta alone who removed captain marvel from the title to support her black best friend teyonnah parris and the first female captain marvel monica rambeau
Nia comes from a racially mixed family. One of her grandmothers is white.
This movie Is gonna be a massacre, grab your popcorn 🍿🍿🍿🍿
What ?
@@_Spectrum_288u heard him
nia da costa is very pro black and since monica rambeau was the first female captain marvel in the comics and is cannon as she said on the tedd lasso interview with Brett Goldstein multiple times... she nia dacosta used her opportunity as the director of captain marvel 2 to strip captain marvel off the the title of the movie and just call it the marvels... instead of calling it 'captain marvel 2 the marvels' The one thing nia dacosta seems to forget is that wasp from ant man was the first avenger in the comics and the first leader of the avengers...yet Evangeline Lilly has never complained that she should have rightly been the leader of the avengers instead of iron man and captain america rightfully so....and that this is cannon...cannon as nia da costa seems to be obsessed with....Put some respect on Carol Danvers. And Monica shouldn't be sharing a title. How about giving her a solo movie!
You posted this twice?

@@ndo533 He's a psycho but nobody's paying attention
eternals shows that now in phase 4 the directors have been given full power..unlike in phase 1,2,3 where the mcu kevin feige had full power ..so it was nia dacosta that decided not feige or the mcu....and teyonah is her friend...
@Kodiak Coverage Nah I agree with op here. Eternals was very much so a Chloe Zhao film. There was reports of Feige being suprised by her style of filmmaking and wanting to move away from Marvel traditions such as filming in real locations
You do know no one cares about the MCU now ?
The response for "the black woman flying" made me cringe hardd
Its a bit cheesy but also nice to actually think about lol the black women in the mcu dont got powers like carol besides monica, yet alone even better haha i dont think yall know how cool monicas powers are gonna actually look. She can change her body to energy on a MOLECULAR level. Carol cant.
Your cringe.
Mrs. Parris. I love you. You are so beautiful and talented. Keep up the good work. I love you so much. May Jehovah bless you and protect you.
It still kills me that they tried to make Brie Larson's Captain Marvel this big win for diversity, when to do that, they completely ignored that Monica Rambeau, a black woman was the first woman to use Captain Marvel as a moniker, and instead made Carol Danvers be inspiration for Monica Rambeau. I'm still hoping Rogue shows up in The Marvels and sucks the life out of Carol Danvers like she did in the comics, so that we can get rid of her in the MCU.
😬😬
the title change from captain marvel 2 the marvel to just the marvels was 100% nia da costa's idea not the mcu or kevin feige or marvel or disney.....it was all nia dacosta ..and since phase 4 kevin feige has given full power to the directors of the movies unlike phase 1 to 3 where he withheld the full control from the directors
Imagine if writers/directors/actors just talked about their products instead of representation. I’m not sure where they think they aren’t represented in this day & age but this ‘platforming’ sure seems to turn off a lot of fans.
They do talk about their products, why DID we wait so long for Hollywood to cast black female actors and producers and directors? It seems like they were gatekeeping until now when China is getting into Africa to steal their customers.
@@suzygirl1843 we haven’t. They’ve been around for a long time. And the good ones have been successful and brought in lots of fans, many of them white. I don’t see diversity driving box office $$. Do you? I’m not saying don’t give opportunities to POC. I’m just saying let them produce a show and let the show stand on its own merits, not social credit.
@@squiggs928 Well, just hope that they don't overtly masculinize any of these women trying to be like the boys. The Monica Rambeau I saw in Wandavision was pretty descent.
@@suzygirl1843 I liked her. But likely they will ruin her character in the movie.
@@squiggs928 I personally didn't like how Wanda treated her. As soon as she ruined her fantasy, she violently booted her out and all that Monica had to say was she felt bad for Wanda.
Will lose money. A lot of money.
That's money I need for a house goddamn it 😂
Put some respect on Carol Danvers. And Monica shouldn't be sharing a title. How about giving her a solo movie!
Dude, go somewhere else
Either you a bot or Brie Larson trolling lol
Monica was the first female Captain Marvel. Shush.
Cos money.
nah i think its cuz direct nia de costa wants this movie to be about teyonah paris' monica rambeau so she doesnt want the title to focus on the white girl
You again? Okay, get out
Wauuu😫
Weirdo.
Cos everyone hates her or because she is Nia is racist ?
I can't wait to not watch this crap movie.
I can't not wait to see either 😎 🦯🦮
it was a huge flop 😂 Diversity hire - failed.....
Most of this is lies. "Representation"? The demographic most likely to go to college in the U.S. is black women. Women in the U.S., generally, are 50% more likely to go on to college than men. Women in the U.S. fare better than men in nearly every area relevant to well-being, from longevity to health to health care spending, education (where women exclusively, routinely, continue to be incentivized to go to college), suicide, alcoholism, homelessness, violent crime victimization, and even sexual assault once you factor in men's prisons and how women are overwhelmingly favored in sentencing for identical crimes by the criminal 'justice' system.
Then there's the simple fact that even 10 years ago TIME magazine was already reporting that in the most comparable cohorts, childless men and women ages 20 to 40, women were outearning men $1.08 for every $1.00 earned by men. "Representation" for... what? For the most privileged, the more favored groups?
Most of the people pushing this stuff are white people. Talk to them and a lot of what you saying isn’t accurate either. Who runs the criminal Justice system. The majority on the highest court in the land are what ?! And who runs the networks and entertainment industry?!
On-screen in certain roles, sweetie. The point went over your head.
Lol, you completely messed the point of this interview and the context of where its set
Why do you see it that way? College isn't prestigious/ esteemed place anymore with the lifelong debt students obtain so... what makes you think that black women (bw) receiving college gives them "privilege"? Isn't education a sure way to get out of poverty? And bw likely do not receive ANY help from the MEN in their own community, so why not educate them so that they don't fall into bad crowds, domestic violence or unplanned pregnancies? You do realize that college has made them avoid these factors as their birth rates have fallen since white Americans like to scapegoat bw for welfare (though, white women receive the most welfare out of everyone)?
Tf ?
Just make a great movie stop with the PC garbage....I may not see this movie....everything looks like HOT GARBAGE at D23
The fact that people speaking on their experiences and how it can enrich the lives of others, especially young people, that bothering you is VERY telling of how nasty of a person you are behind your RUclips account, lmao. If you're racist, just say that. No one told you to come here.
The only garbage here is you and your comment.
FYI, there's no room for people like you in the world. You're losing.
