Her energy is so radiant, the whole studio lighted up with the mixture of her and Tamron’s presence. Her and Tom are the most positive, nurturing , caring artists, their child is going to be raised with so much love for sure.

I saw a lot of people compare the marvels movie and the season finale of Loki and it made me chuckle because I just remembered Zawe and Tom.H are engaged. Their baby is gonna be well fed and live a fantastic and loving life. Congrats to them!
I didn’t like the movie or the show but I’ve adored Tom for years and am staring to like her and from what I see I think she’s great for him!

I think her character could’ve been more fleshed out. Especially since she is the second female villain we’ve had in a major MCU film since Thor ragnarok. I will say Zawe did amazing with her expressions, I just wish they gave her better lines and purpose behind why her character behaved the way she did.

I agree. I really sympathized with her when she was with her people.
The film apparently was badly written and badly edited, HOWEVER, I got a really good vibe from this actress, even though she was rather miscast for the role, and clearly badly directed.
I will check out her other work, though.
Mr Malcolm's List is a recent one that she was good in.

@@Omega_Redstone I'm not sure, but she's too cute and adorable to play a badly written, one dimensional villain. If they had fleshed out the character, and shown her to have motivations the audience could empathize with, then it might have worked. But Marvel seems unable to do that kind of thing nowadays.
@@Omega_Redstone Dar Benn could have worked if they'd fleshed out her backstory and not kept it secret until halfway through the movie.
The only time I got scared of what she could do was when she put that hammer on Kamala's head. More moves like that where the main characters actually felt like they were in danger, would have improved her.
It was an awful movie and her character was weak but she seems like a lovely person!

@@deee71194he was just trying to be funny by quoting Ryan George. Leaving funny Pitch Meetings aside, Dar-Benn is not more forgettable than your average Marvel/superhero villain. I liked her motivations, and I usually dislike the Kree because they just want to conquer and rule. She was nuanced.

Her voice is so mundane
It's great that they are appealing to woke progressives and women instead of their core audience of men. I'm sure the success of the movie will show this move was a stroke of genius.
The movie flopped big-time. Even more hilarious is the fact that 65% of people who went to see the Marvels were men. In other words, a movie promoting 'women empowerment' was supported only by a small percentage of female population that wasn't even a majority.
Compared to which numbers for women going to see other Marvel movies?? Who gives af!? The movie was good and will age better than all of this! So who really gives af which gender came out when it’s really men who are fans of marvel comic books and movies?! 🤨
