Thank you, greate video👌 Just had 1 question, can we create weekly, monthly, quaterly, yearly and 5 to 10 years views? for longterm perspective as a planner!
Great question, at the moment it’s not on the plan but here’s a resource you can use - www.airtable.com/guides/customize/how-to-build-custom-reports I may add this to the list of tutorial topics, thanks for leaving a comment and reaching out!
You can create a view grouped by category which will sum everything up that is tied to that category. As long as you have a category field you can create a view by grouping, hope that helps!
Why does mine start out with this amount at the top and those “ empty” counts ? I’ve followed step by step of your and keep getting this. Also why won’t the weeks/ quarters automatically update themselves?
When I create a new table it asked me " what should each record be called" with a drop down of many options. Should I always keep it as " record" and save?
It’s just a label, you can stick with the default “record”, it doesn’t really do anything differently except for telling the user “+ Add record” or “+ Add project” to make it user friendly, it’s a user experience thing which you can always change by going back and renaming the table. If you hover over the “+” sign at the bottom of the table you’ll see the label that pops up, hope that helps!
Gosh i'm going to drive you nuts, lol. But how are you getting the grid views on the left, such as all operating expenses, By occurence, by catagory ect ect ect?
It’s hard to tell without looking at what you’ve done so far but be sure to tag the respective period to the records you want based on how I did it in the video. It doesn’t automatically generate unless you tag and link the records to their respective periods. Check out time stamp 4:10 in my video 😊
I have watched this sooo many times and although I know this should be easy for me to figure out how to do and this has been the best detailed video I have found yet, its just not working for me. Id love to hire you to get this setup for me. i'M JUST WASTING SOO MUCH TIME ON TRYING TO SETUP WEEKLY, BIWEEKLY, QUATERLY REPORTS, I NEED HELP. ARE YOU FOR HIRE?

Will you be doing a video of how to do reports? I’d like to be able to have professional reports I can email to my tax accountant

How do I sum up my catagories separately instead of all together?

I swear I’ve gone over this exact step by step and my AT doesn’t look like yours. I’m using the pro version. What could possibly be wrong?

Well I can’t get it to send you a picture 😩

How are your weeks and quarters automatically being generated? Mine are all blank.
