We're back at Dorney Park and this time it's to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Thunderhawk, the park's classic wooden coaster! It's crazy to think this wooden roller coaster has been around for so long and that it's still running in top form. Sure it doesn't have too many exciting moments for the modern thoosie, and we all wish the brakes before the bunny hills weren't so aggressive, but to see the president of the Philadelphia Toboggan Company brought nearly to tears talking about this coaster really softened my opinions.
Dorney did a great job putting together the day's festivites, from the food, the band, the nano coaster competition and even a live hawk demostration! Props to them and thanks for letting me tag along!

They need a multi launch coaster and a indoor shooter/attraction at Dorney. Also, some new and modern flat rides.
Something indoor would be so GOOD at that park. Where would they put it tho? 🤔
@@thrillsandmagic re purpose the seating area where Monster was instead of the barely used seating area or where they do Necropolis.
Never understood why Dorney never placed a camera there for Thunderhawk and a purchasable photo!? So many families had this ride as their children's first "Big coaster" and have no photos. Even to this day.
Facts! At some parks there's shirts, buttons and photos and everything to celebrate kids first big coaster!
