I do and I always have. She may not get as many solo lines in their songs, but her vocal colour to me is always the most easily distinguishable and important one in the mix during their chorus harmonies.

I really don't mind if Red Velvet's next comeback has this kind of concept. No dancing, just full vocals and visuals until Wendy is 100% healthy. This is so great.
Great Harmony capability, but also great Harmonic and vocal power structure. That's why even when they sing the same note (unison choruses) there is an incredible blend. Let me explain. Red Velvet has at least three tones with different harmonic structure, that makes at least three different instruments of an orchestra: - Wendy and Irene: round tones. (Wendy in fact can do any other tones too because of her technique) - Seulgi: mainly nasal tone. - Joy and Yeri: mainly laringeal tones. These three tones complement each other well because each one provides a different harmonic structure to the note, so they don't cancel each other or make unwanted extra resonances, just as 3 different instruments work together. When harmony is added, this quality explodes in full. The other reason is diversity of pitch power zone: - Irene and Yeri: Low to middle range power. - Joy: full Middle range power - Seulgi: Middle and upper range power. - Wendy: All range power capability, but when group vocals come, she is placed in her upper soprano range. So in harmony, they cover the power of all necessary pitch range. Everybody is in their power range with ease, and the voices energy are in perfect balance along the spectrum of frequencies. This combination of qualities inside a single girl group just doesn't exist elsewhere. There are other groups with incredible gifted singers as individuals, but the usual case is that they share the same power range or type of tone, so group vocals doesn't sound this complete.
This is simply the best explanation of Red Velvet's harmonies and why they're so good 😭💗 more luvies need to see this! SM may suck at managing their groups but they knew exactly what they were doing when they picked out the members for Red Velvet ❤️💛💚💙💜

The Red Velvet magic is not just how good their voices sound individually, it's also greatly because of how good they sound with each other. It may be because their vocal textures just blend perfectly and or they've been trained to work that way as a group. That is how I can say this is one of the best sounding groups, it's because everything works in harmony like things were all designed around and for each other. Really, you can have a bunch of good soloists but will they mix well together?
Look at Joy, she can't take her eyes off Wendy. Yeri seulgi irene also keep looking look at Wendy. We can clearly see that they are the happiest when they are 5. Great Harmony capability, but also great Harmonic and vocal power structure. That's why even when they sing the same note (unison choruses) there is an incredible blend. Let me explain.
Red Velvet has at least three tones with different harmonic structure, that makes at least three different instruments of an orchestra:
- Wendy and Irene: round tones. (Wendy in fact can do any other tones too because of her technique)
- Seulgi: mainly nasal tone.
- Joy and Yeri: mainly laringeal tones.
These three tones complement each other well because each one provides a different harmonic structure to the note, so they don't cancel each other or make unwanted extra resonances, just as 3 different instruments work together. When harmony is added, this quality explodes in full.
The other reason is diversity of pitch power zone:
- Irene and Yeri: Low to middle range power.
- Joy: full Middle range power
- Seulgi: Middle and upper range power.
- Wendy: All range power capability, but when group vocals come, she is placed in her upper soprano range.
So in harmony, they cover the power of all necessary pitch range. Everybody is in their power range with ease, and the voices energy are in perfect balance along the spectrum of frequencies. This combination of qualities inside a single girl group just doesn't exist elsewhere. There are other groups with incredible gifted singers as individuals, but the usual case is that they share the same power range or type of tone, so group vocals doesn't sound this complete.

The Red Velvet magic is not just how good their voices sound individually, it's also greatly because of how good they sound with each other. It may be because their vocal textures just blend perfectly and or they've been trained to work that way as a group. That is how I can say this is one of the best sounding groups, it's because everything works in harmony like things were all designed around and for each other. Really, you can have a bunch of good soloists but will they mix well together?
When RV sing together they sound like a whole choir.
