Log Cabin Campout - Part 2 -- Giant City State Park & Shawnee National Forest.

In this episode, I came back to Shawnee National Forest to camp near a 1930s Civilian Corps Log Cabin.
Highlights of this episode.
1. Camped near & made a fire in a 1930s Civilian Corps Log Cabin.
2. Drove through the Beautiful Communities of Alto Pass, Cobden, and Makanda in Southern Illinois.
3. Drove through Giant City State Park (Makanda, IL)
4. Hiked a small section of Trillium Trail. On this trail, I saw amazing Sandstone bluffs.
5. Made a delicious Roast Beef sandwich on Garlic Bread.

Shawnee National Forest is great!
I've visited that place and driven through at least a dozen times. The prettiest part of Illinois.
We usually stay in Harrodsburg.
