Gym class was never fun. Good job passing Physical Education. I'm kidding, I have no idea what goes into the engineering certification process. My brother is lead of department making military robotics, so technically an engineer or designer or programmer, never mentioned anything about certifications though.
@@TheChristianna321 Considering he was head hunted by six separate companies including to return to CAT, Uber and others after his former company closed shop. So experience and reputation is equally important to degrees. When you have both though, you'll be unstoppable.
@@nickmoney yeah to be a licensed engineer you have to have a degree from an accredited school, 4+ years of experience (with references) and pass 2 very difficult tests, so it's both experience and degrees, but not all companies require it. It really depends on the kind of engineering you do and whether it needs a stamp. The first few companies I worked for didn't care about stamps, so I didn't pursue one. My current company does, so I'm working towards it
