You're the first foreign vlogger I know who rented a motorbike in Manila. There were couples who rented a car and went travelling North and South Luzon.
Its a touristy place and has expat prices. May I suggest you go to the Ust area and try their very affordable student priced food ruclips.net/video/mfRZRfKj97U/видео.html There's even a thai food there made by a real Thai
One thing I can say is, and I can’t say this about any vlogger that I follow, that I always look forward to watching your next vlog. And wow! You seem to gain 100 subs everytime I check on your channel. Check out Salcedo market in Makati, at Salcedo village. Keep up the interesting content.
Mergim you found a place to chill....stroll....explore...and splurge on variety of food. One can visit this place again and again...and still find it breezing ..relaxing.....interesting ...much more inviting. Enjoy Mergim....love this video. God bless
Try to go to Alabang, Muntinlupa, Festival mall at Filinvest, then after Festival mall, you can to the mall main entrance and walk your way to Ayala Town Center around 1.5kms passing by several shops, hotels, gasoline station, and restuarants... also interesting area is the North gate in Filivest...
Wow that is yummy🥰the grilled bangus is my favorite . Thanks for asking the time of the food market now we have idea once we go for our holiday there. Stay happy & blessed from ireland.
You should try Mercato Centrale BGC it has A LOT MORE OPTIONS ADDRESS : 25th Street corner 7th Avenue (vacant lot, with astronaut mural), Bonifacio Global City, 1634 Taguig, Philippine SCHEDULE Wednesday to Saturday 6PM to 3AM
Weekend markets, with great gastronomical treats. We had one near our building in Ortigas and it was nothing short of a feast. Explore, Mergim, and enjoy. You seem to be having a blast in the Islands Philippines 🇵🇭. ♥️👊💎
Hey, here comes Mergim the biker and the food explorer. What a good combination to explore and chill, especially if you have the extra budget for it. Hehehe. Enjoying the road and the foods. Drive safe and take care always, Mergim. 👍✌️🙏❤️
Most people who buy food there take them home to eat (the original market was for the residents in the area) so I'm guessing they don't usually automatically have cutlery UNLESS you request for them. Toby's Estate is just near there. They have better coffee than Starbucks, not sure about the Americano specifically. We have lots of specialty cafes in the area. You might want to venture to Antipolo or Rizal area next. Having a motorbike would be a huge help. I think Quezon City has a similar weekend market. I noticed today is Tuesday and that was last Saturday. Glad you have adjusted your shooting and releasing schedule of videos. You get to rest more (hopefully).
There are two food market, one is Salcedo every Saturday and the other one is Legazpi and it’s every Sunday , also near Salcedo . Salcedo Village and the other one is Legazpi .
Hope u drop by Salcedo Market again; then after eating all that good food, walk it off by visiting Ayala Triangle park and its newest mall. Hope u can stay for the festival of lights in the evening
Mergim - Nice driving content. The streets of Makati look like they are paved with gold. NICE. Also, I’m beginning to suspect that PH cuisine is lovingly created from using “mother-in-law recipes”.
@@milomilo417 I'm afraid I do not follow your meaning. But I will not find fault in your diagnosis because you are well read in psychology to be sure. I blame myself for failing to understand your use of punctuations and sentence structures that only you yourself understand.
An Aussie lady sells crumpets, sausage rolls in Salcedo market if in case you're missing those! I have recently bought a condo in Salcedo and hopefully will move by end of September, I've had enough of UK weather.
🌺🏝️🌎Sir Mergim, First ☕ nice Barako coffee, to start your day, with some Julia's sweet treats, with some Mango, and squeeze of calamansi, and a sweet 🍌 banana, Now you will be ready for a nice lunch🙏🌺🏝️
Mergim, while in Makati, you should vlog to where the original Manila International Airport was located. At present time, the original TOWER called Neilsen Tower is restored, and is now a restaurant since 2014. called BLACKBIRD, located at Makati Avenue./ Paseo de Roxas. Yes, between those Skyscrapers before 1937 was a runway for planes. Please check it out. You'll be amazed.
I miss Salcedo market. I used to go there just as they open after my night shift work in Makati. Not sure if it's still there, but there was a samosas stand there that was amazing. And if you're really hungry, some grilled stuffed squid or pork loin with rice will fill you up nicely.
❤️❤️❤️since you're staying in BGC.. there's a "Food District" there.. we call it underground foodcourt"🤪 space is good enough to fill in your stomach☺️... it's in the lower ground in One Bonifacio High Street Mall, PSE Bldg., 5th Avenue
So nice to see Makati thru a different perspective! Great vlog! Hope you also check out Legaspi Market on Sundays, I think it's 7AM to 2PM? Just go to Legaspi St., right behind Greenbelt 1 mall and AIM
Hi Mergim, I suggest you also visit the Pintô Art Museum and the other one is Art Sector Gallery and Chimney Cafe 360. They are both are located in Rizal. Much better you visit there if weather is good.
I’m so jealous of your bangus. I also travel when I can and I love to eat. Since you do a lot of food vlogs, I suggest that you buy a set of stainless utensils, just wrap it in a cloth table napkin and keep it in your bag. That way, you’re always ready to dig in, and less plastic garbage for mother earth.
Durian @P800 per kilo 😅 you need to visit Davao ... It's Durian season now and you can get Durian at P50 per kilo or less ... I'm craving for grilled bangus now after watching this episode 😅
The weekend market has expanded at Salcedo (pronounced "Sal-Say-Doh"). There is another one over at the Legazpi Village open carpark. As you have noticed the prices at these markets are "upmarket" prices because of the condos and high end living in Makati. But the options and quality will obviously be more varied and "International"?? It opens up the flavours and tastes to the different people living in Makati both locals and foeginers without having to go out of the CBD. I love boneless bbq bangus ...
Salcedo Market is Saturdays. Legaspi Market is Sundays. Both in Makati.
I wonder if we are going to get a Legaspi episode. The Salcedo location is beautiful though.

Mergim the right pronunciation of Bangus is bang-ngus. It's our national fish. You are doing good in our country. More power to you!
and how do you pronounce ngus?
@@leonmp8560 the "ng" is pronounced like the "ng" in bang. /ba·ngús/

There are food trucks scattered around Makati - should give them a try!

It appears from Ice Americano.
That boneless fish is $16 here in Fl.
Soooo yummy
See you around😅😂
This is the type of place where a food vacuum sealer at your place would be awesome for keeping it fresh.
Mergim you need to make a long bike ride through Manila video , it's so relaxing to watch

Yes and on the way to Antipolo you can pass by the Adidas outlet and other shops in Sm Masinag. Antipolo is nice and is like Osmena tops.
Please come to Baguio City and vlog about Baguio's Public Market before it will be renovated and modernized.
Try Legazpi market open on Sunday. Much cheaper than Salcedo
makati is a very expensive place to live in. very convenient tho, and very close to schools, workplaces and offers different cuisines
Salcedo Saturday Market and Legazpi Sunday Market in Makati City
Did you love makati Mergim? 😊 does it come close to bangkok’s financial district?

Makati well organized

I love boneless bbq bangus ...
might be better to pronounce it "sal-seh-do"
On the title & caption, I believed it's "Salcedo Food Market", not Selcado!
Grilled Tuna Panga (tuna jaw) is the best. But always ask for their sweet sauce
