Although everyone is unique and some people are outliers, like actual intersex people born with both sex organs, genetics determines which hormones to produce so that the body conforms over time to express the genetic code. If there is a hormonal issue, it would seem that the hormone therapy would be very useful. I truly and honestly hope you can help me understand. Wouldn't it be better to have hormone therapy that makes a person feel comfortable in their body and helps it function the best that it can? I've come to the conclusion that I live with an ailment which is my brain matter is wrong from my general flesh and sex. There's nueroscience on it it seems. So I will take medicine to heal this intense suffering that sometimes leads to suicide if left unharmed. But through this I still have the suffering/brain of a women. I'm contentious on surgery other then orchiectomies. I can't give birth. At Best I can nanny. I can't Marry under faith. What is the orthodox stance on biological men and women using "fertility" and hormone therapy for things like impotence and menopause. I'm not saying its a gotcha but it's still a form of hormone treatment that "god did not intend" to me I see my hormone treatment as a simple way for me to keep living alongside my faith in Christ.
