I love her speaking voice. It's so smooth, soft, beautiful and sexy.
Im pretty sure it's not Nicole's choice to have all of the singing parts in the group. Im sure that's probably the managers choice. I doubt that she just says "Back up bitches, im gonna sing everything."
Exactly what I said! It's really the record label and Robin Antin who created it like this and people keep going after Nicole and it's so annoying. Also, I think the girl Nicole was talking about was Jessica. She went running off at the mouth and tried for what I think was attention but failed lol

Nicole is so extremely gorgeous, though, that is hard for people to like her, I was thinking about that just the other day, people get jealous of her and start saying mean things about her, in real life she's a sweetheart, many people have said that, even fans that got to meet her.

Well I remember seeing an interview where she said she was dealing with bulimia at the time of being in the group so she might’ve still been getting over that. Plus the issues with breaking up. Idk just a thought.

One thing I've always admired about this group from the beginning is how gracious and professional these girls have been. Nowadays, girl group yell at each other in front of people, cameras, and hate on other members in interviews/magazines/internet. These girls have always kept true to their motto: Sassy but Classy!
One thing i do admire about nicole is that she never speaks bad about someone, she's very careful about her choice of words, while so many others slander each others, she keeps it professional.
LOOK I LOVE RYAN but he's pestering her for a story that just doesn't exist.

I think she's talking about Melody as the one who did something that disappointed her. The year before this is when Melody threw shade at Nicole on stage at Britney Spears concert during their opening act because Nicole had the featuring credit on Jai Ho. "Thank you for supporting me even though I'm not featured" or something like that
I think she was talking about Jessica because Nicole and Jessica were very close during dolls days. it was Nicole who pushed Jessica to do stand alone collabs with DJs when she couldn't) White Lies for example.

Nicole never wanted to be in a "group", if you watch her Behind the Music on VH1, she clearly states that. And she was more than likely the first who piped up and wanted to go solo.

The problem with this band was it was run by a corporation. They made all the decisions for the band. These girls were looking for their break and signed the contract,which usually doesn't benefit the ladies. Nicole was their moneymaker and nothing was going to stop that flow of money coming in.If it was just the girls running things,they all would have got a chance to sing some of the time,not just backup. Shame. I enjoyed their music.
She looked so depressed during this interview.

I always was a fan of Nicole's projects, including Eden's Crush, PCD and her solo career. But I think Little Mix is more powerful now than the Pussycat Dolls were back then. Because their friendship is true and their music has more statements and deeper massages than PCD's music. 😊
5H had some good songs and the members have their talents, but it's also nothing compared to LM.
I hope Nicole (and Carmit) will give us new music soon. "Big Fat Lie" is way too underrated and "It's Time" by Carmit is one of the biggest jams of 2017 in my opinion. 😊

I LOVE pussycat dolls and I am sorry they split up but I can totally understand why. I wanted all of them to sing their own part , I LOVE Melody Thornton and everyone in the group is amazing and I wanted them all to shine

@hotkitten2587 it was a rib injury she said in an interview...she sustained it while on tour with PCD & she said that after getting it, it's kind of pushed her over the edge & she realized she didn't want to do it anymore.
i love her...she is so humble...and she can sing...
shes so amazing, i really feel bad for her because all the girls left but on the other side the other girls were only back up dancers, so that wasn't fair for them either, too bad that was the best group ever, and even if they come up with new Dolls is never going to be the same.
I love PCD, and I'm sad that they broke up :( I really looked up to them but it just goes to show that what great career they had was not enough. I still love Nicole, but I can't say much for the other girls.
The Pussycat Dolls did not just give us the music and the dance, but they did inspire us, teach us to believe in ourselves and in our dreams and remind us to love ourselves because we are beautiful. And thats what I love about em. Damn I MISS PCD!! Pls come back, dolls! WE MISS YOU SO MUCH

it's sad that some of the PCD left. I like NIcole. I hope she's gets more projects and have great success in her future endeavours.
If the jealousy rumours are true then that just breaks my heart. PCD was (and still is) one of my favorite girl groups of all time and its just sad that this group was torn apart possibly by something so stupid as that. They were all beautiful in their own ways and the only thing is that I just wish that the other girls had more parts in the group if they were still together.

She need to stop talking about the group breaking up & get the group back together & give Melody some actual Solos not lil vocal Runs in the backgrounds! cuz Melody can sing & the other girls too they were my favorite girl group that can actually dance together perfectly at the same exact pase without missing a step! I was a huge fan! If you guys come back together switch it around & give it new flare & let them all sing with solos!

I guess in any singing group, this kind of thing is bound to happen. I mean a group of singers is banded toghether supposedly to perform. Thats like human with many heads and no limbs.
Proper bands however (GnR, beattles,etc) are complementing each other and yet they still break up a lot.
I never really liked her until this video. you can see so much hurt in her eyes when she talks bout it.
I think Nicole was definitely talking about Jessica... i remember reading an interview from awhile back stating that Jessica and Nicole were really close during the "glory days" of Pcd. Jessica did pretty much betray Nicole because she did that interview with E News throwing Nicole under the bus.

i actually think it was jessica, because she did that interview where she basically said she didn't want to live in the shadow of nicole anymore and how nicole was difficult at times

LeocornoProductions Exactly their relationship was professional, it wasn't a real relationship, Melody has gotten along with Nicole because she came to one of Nicole's Dancing with the stars performance, it was definitely Jessica that Nicole went downhill with because Jessica was the first to leave the group and talked about it with the media.

The group broke up because of her diva attitude. She was so thirsty for a solo career, but she didn’t go anywhere. She is nothing without the dolls.
However, I am so excited for the Pussycat Dolls reunion.
Ive been a PCD fan when I was little and now all i know is that this somehow similar to Fifth Harmony's case when Camila left the group. There will always be someone who wants to outshine others and that's really sad

Nicole WANTED to be a solo artist. She tried countless times to make album titles or songs Pussycat Dolls ft Nicole. She doesn't seem to care (Ex I just want them to be happy to do their own thing) Even if she never really let the other girls shine and sing as much, she could have at least gave them more screen time in videos and not be jealous. She admitted in interviews that she sang everything, included vocals for a CD and tried to hide it from the other girls. The other girls put up with her for 6 years and eventually broke up. For some of the people in the comments, they did know there was going to be a lead singer and they were going to be backup dancers. Yes she is a great singer and dancer, but it was her self absorbed personality that broke PCD up.

Well apparently Nicole was in control of how much the other girls were in videos and how much they sang because when she left to do her solo career for the 1st time obv Robin Antin wanted her to stay, so her career kinda flopped and she was invited back, she agreed on the condition that she got to choose how much the other girls were in the 'spotlight' :( Which is really sad! MELODY FTW!

The doll who disapointed Nicole was Jessica. Jessica got interviewed after the pussycatdoll broke up and she said that during tour, she had an injury with her ribs so they kicked her out because she couldnt dance anymore. Since she was on tour she had no car or house so Jesica friend had to take her in, and the reason why Jessica was so upset was because Nicole didnt even help Jessica in her problem she justy kinda kicked her to the curb.
There is so much hate towards Nicole on here. At the end of the day it is up to the record label, they made her the lead singer. She may have wanted that to but she is just a girl chasing her dream and I think that is something applaudable. I have nothing but respect for her. She is always graceful and thankful for everything that has come her way. And if the other Dolls didn't like it then why didn't they leave after the first album? Why stay for another one?

i'm so sick of hearing comments that the other girls were treated unfairly. they pratically didn't have to work to get where they are and yet now they start to bad mouth the group and call nicole a diva. nicole here shows so much proffessionalism and doesn't bad mouth anyone in the group, which shows a better character in her than the other girls. Plus, i heard all the other girls solos and they could not hold a solo as strongly as nicole, sure they have sweet voices but that's basically abou it
@Jodyssss I believe it's Melody (it's not confirmed just my my opinion),because of the incident with the live concert that Melody cried and said that she was happy that the fans of the group supported her even though she wasn't featured.(She was talking about the Hush Hush video where you can see it listed as The pussycat dolls featuring Nicole scherzinger)

@drama28king very true indeed. When PCD was going to be turned into a singing group they had to scout at least 2 girls who can really sing and add them into the group. Those 2 were Nicole and Melody.

Aww..although people say she took charge of pussycat dolls etc..and that she was the only person singing (apparently) she's got a really nice personality wow. I like her ;) shes so down to Earth.

@MsJanisD i dont think she was referring to Nicole. Melody was referring to the management and the label about the feature thing. Melody Nicole and Ashley are really close until now, they even tweet each other and support each other

Well everyone, the new PCD has been announced. Their are 5 members, Chrystina Sayers (from GIRLICIOUS), Lauren Bennett (from PARADISO GIRLS), Vanessa Curry (Laker Girl), Erica Jenkins (Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader), and Paula Van Oppen (from SYTYCD, and worked with Jason Derulo (Dont Wanna go Home), Pitbull (Rain over me), and in the Movie Burlesque (hopefully thats how its spelled :P)
Sad part is that the only one that came to see her as I recall on dwts was Melody. And the closet one who she could be talking about who did something to disappoint her would have to be the red hair one Jessica i believe; when she came out and said that they made her homeless and that the group was all about Nicole. lol You can never put a group of sassy girls together and expect it to last. Girls are to petty,vindictive etc. Trust me I know. That's why I keep Boys as friends no drama in that.
