Roxanne reminds me of Carson from So Not Worth It. They are both foreigners studying at university in South Korea waiting for their boyfriend to return from military service. They are also close with their boyfriend’s mum.

The good thing about running your own restaurant is you have control over everything. The bad thing about running your own restaurant is you have responsibility for everything. It's tough. Most restaurants fail within 2 years. Chefs almost always end up going from one to the next. It's a hard life and not glamorous at all.
Livia Sama lol true but it only looked like that in korean writing because there is no proper letter for V. A letter V, in lets say english, sounds like the letter B for koreans when they pronounce it. also, i think its hard for koreans to say sharp letters so they just use B instead of V.
Why do they all ask the french chef why he is doing everything "bballi bballi," as if this was something he should change, because it´s bad? Firstly, it´s everybody´s own character and lifestyle. Though I don´t feel the same about living a fast paced life myself, he seems to be doing a great job with his demanding profession and all the work he has to do daily by his own, so nothing to complain about. Secondly, "bballi bballi" is the Korean lifestyle, at least in Seoul, so people critizising him should really question the general lifestyle and not this guy´s . The helping mc´s are commenting too superficial, it´s sometimes annoying.
bballi balli is not a korean lifestyle nor is it a Seoul lifestyle. It is pure common sense in a restaurant or in a place where demand is high that you must be efficient and fast. If you think that in US they don't expect you to be quick or any other place where there are lots of customers or anything, you are really stupid.
At the beginning we have : Grégory, a cook and he opened a restaurant in Korea, 7 months ago (sorry i can't translate korean) and before that he worked 6 years in Seoul 5 min : speak about what he has to do... to hurry up (washing) they are in red at the bank XD - his wife lost her parents and he lost his father so they are alone here, and can"t have help from them for the restaurant - don't put ''food/ sauce'' (it) everywhere ! ~ (when she cooks) - the Kévin guy is really lazy XD he ask him to do the chimney before opening the restaurant, he forgets a lot of things to do - he's too slow and so the chief always put him at his place...And G's wife she went outside with G to ask why he's s o angry and he said it's because if you act like that the restaurant can't work...And then G invited them to a restaurant: they speak: comprehension is important to work in a team XD Speaks about dishes... ducks and so ... then they do a little banquet because of a (french ?) exhibition and they only do french dishes (there's also snails... seriously... French people are knowned to eat that ... but i don't know people eating that XD so..... don't think we all like that it's not that eaten here) The girl's name is Roxane and i can't help you sorry ;__; there's no french I hope i helped a ''little''

I'm curious about the visa status of "Chef" Gregory's two kitchen helpers. If you think Korea will give work visas to a couple of Frenchmen, or any foreign country for that matter, to work in a restaurant or in the F&B/hospitality biz, you're sadly mistaken. The only way a foreigner could do that if he had an "F" series visa, e.g., being an overseas Korean (F-4), a spouse of Korean citizen (F-6), or a permanent resident (F-5), which is one step below becoming a naturalized citizen and requires fluency in Korean, several years of living in Korea on another kind of F visa, significant assets, etc. As Gregory's kitchen help don't appear to be either married, extremely wealthy investors, or even fluent in Korean, it is highly unlikely that they have a legitimate work or residency visa.
