I put this in the TOY category. If your child or niece or nephew wanted to play radio or podcast then ok, but only because it’s convenient and easy, but a snowball or yeti is better, and those are available used all over the place.
Nailed it
Yep, something I might pick up at a garage sale. The whole RGB thing is getting pretty old at this point.
It's exhausting
It's a descent sounding mic, but you are right the low end sounds digitalish. As a beginner gamer, maybe this would work. Would not recomend for a podcaster.
Agree
I have to say, as much as I don’t really care for lights on a mic at all.. that one shows up well on camera as far as being able to see the colors. But yeah.. have to agree with the 3.
It IS a good light....for whatever it's worth

🤣🤦♂️
Microphone... glow belly. Two things that I'd never imagine being related and in the same product. Didn't sound that bad on this end. But the question that I would have asked if i were on the product design board... what does this product offer or do better than something that exists. If the answer was glow belly... i would have voted "no" on going to production. I agree with you on this rating. This doesn't need to exist.
"If the answer was glow belly ". Lolol
I'm often hired by streamers and content creators to help them with their sound setup, or for advice on acoustic treatment, that means I often get to see what they gravitate towards before I give them any advice.
There's two schools:
- 'influencer XYZ said the Shure MV7 has the warmest clearest tone and is the only mic I'll ever need'
- 'This chinese mic from Amazon looks cool with the RGB lights, it's not a XLR but it's good, right?'
Clearly Syntech are targeting the latter.
I think the video is definitely releasable - you were quite diplomatic with your wording, and while the outcome is that you don't recommend it, I don't see here ANY words that could be an insult to Syntech. You've said that you liked their previous stuff, just this misses a mark. The mic itself I agree - sounds meh, the RGB is too much on it... hard to get a point why even to recommend to someone, maybe for a beginner young streamer, but in that price I feel like there are better options.
I was hesitant for a totally different reason lol....but it's not been mentioned so i think you are right. Releasable!
You would be better off if you want a USB microphone to buy a Blue Yeti. I seen them around $40 - $50 used.
100%
Are LED's even a selling point now? I think even the gamers have gotten over them
I sure hope so….but yet I still see too many LEDs
Yeah Im tired with the glowing mics just because it glows dont mean it sounds good
🎉 Just bust a move!
I’m dancing!

🤣 Hell yeah! Raise the roof!
Sounds ok but so do others for less.
Bingo.
It sounds thin and nasally to me.
It's pretty shiiiiitty
Ewww. Nasty. Limited bandwidth, distorted, just... Ewww....
I wanna smash it
