Thanks for uploading this video. A good "what could have been team." Watching the television ad for the Astros regarding having Harnisch, Swindell, Drabek, Kyle & Williams as "Aces" shows the promise of this team. Watching Biggio hit a double and Bagwell hit a homer brought back some memories.
I've explained this many times before, but here it goes again: This isn't a live, or even a remotely recent, broadcast. Putting "spoilers" in the title helps people that have been looking for a game featuring a specific moment they remember find said games. Some games don't feature anything of real significance, so they do get posted without spoilers, because they're not warranted. Putting in game info in the title helps a lot of people decided whether or not they even want to watch the game. "Oh, this game goes 14 innings, and my favorite team blew the lead twice in extras. I'll pass." or "Holy crap! I remember watching the highlights of this game, but I never got to see the whole thing! I'm definitely watching this!" This is an archive. Archives feature things that happened, or were made, in the past. Most of the games on my channels are pushing 25-30 years of age. The outcome is not a secret. You can find the play-by-play, detailed down to the pitch-by-pitch, online for free. There is nothing that I am giving away in the title that you wouldn't learn for yourself if you looked the game up on baseball reference. If you want baseball with an unknown outcome, do what I do: watch live games. If you want a classic game, the outcome of which was decided literally a generation ago, keep it tuned right here. I will never understand why so many people complain about shit they get for free. Oh! I'm sorry! Would you prefer that I post the content that I recorded, stored for decades, digitized, and have now uploaded to RUclips, where you get to view it free of charge, differently? I'd delete everything I've put on RUclips sooner than I'd change how I post the content.
I love how everyone thinks the braves were out of it at the strike. They still had a chance to come and take the pennant if the strike didn't happen. Everyone assumes the Expos would have taken it.
Thanks for this upload. Nice to see that 1994 Expos team and that good old Astrodome.
I really love those navy and gold uniforms when the astros worn them from 1994-1999 best uniforms ever in Houston Astros history especially the cap
Mitch Williams, the real wild thing of the MLB.

I love that you and others post these full games, especially with commercials, but I'm always perplexed you would give away the ending in the title!

Thank you so much. These old games really help me sleep. Badass.
The debut of these uniforms.
What a wild.new look this was for.Hou. in 94. Very star Trek The Next Generation or Lockheed Martin. Bpy are those two entities polar opposites.
It's extremely '90s but I like those Astros unis
My favorite Astros baseball cap.
I miss the expos. They should of still been in the MLB.
Yes, MLB is not the same without them... 😞
1994 ASTROS WAS READY TO WIN IT ALL. But that strike killed that
Great to see the 1994 Astros...before the off season trade with San Diego. A 1994 matchup that could have been the NLCS.

That was a crazy year for the Expos.
Excellent ballplayers, could have won the world series in 1994. They got robbed by the strike.
Broadcaster Bill Worrell, the Chuck Woolery of baseball announcers.
I cry about this season as a baseball fan and an Astros fan
As an old soul person 1994 baseball was crazy sucks that the strike cancelled the postseason until '95.
Astros first game as a member of the NL Central
Astros lineup was loaded. Finley, Gonzalez and Ken Caminetti all became MVP caliber players. Steroids or not. Sadly they traded all.
It would have been good if you didn't tell us the end of the game in the headline
It would be good if you would just be thankful you get to see a game you otherwise would have no access to instead of bitching about spoilers.
RIP John McSherry
He's the one who died in Cincy during Opening Day '96 right?
He had a heart attack and died on the field.
Jeff bagwell NL MVP year
Tony Gwynn
I think the expos would of won the world series if it wasn't for the strike.
